IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!! it's worth MORE lol.

oh darn. i really really wish to be at his concert now. anticipate his next concert..

met up with my friend. went out with minfen and yucui to amk lib cafe.

went home. took the longest bubblest bath i had in ages!

what a fantastic day =D and great way to start the weekends! (*singsong manner* no waking up for school, no waking up for school!! XD)

i ponned china studies today (last period) cos mfen was in NY! woohoo. not only mfen. other gals frm tj too ^_^ den slacked at the library. really nice it was (i think our lib has a v small range of fiction thou).

went to TJ b4 3 cos mfen n karen had cca.. had chicken rice there! their food's really much better than ny's. lol. (but then again, it's really easy for food to be better den ny's). NY's compud's is newer den tj.. thou smaller area (makes up by buildin upwards. it's 5 storeys! compared to tj'd 2/3). ny's layout much friendlier too.. got kinda lost in tj lol. but tj does have it's charm too.. spacious n greenery. (but still old! kinda reminds of a pri sch).. can grow to love it thou, it given the same, as yucui says, it has "xing qie gan", cos of it's oldness. brand new compounds are kinda cold n unfriendly. but! of cos i prefer ny haha.not worth it travellin so freakin far to tj!! travel one day already cant stand it..

oh yeah. the bus journey there was really fun! karen, yucui, mfen n me were being v lame ^^;;; good fun. at bedok, these two guys were blockin our way on the escalator. by the time reach the platform, "doors closing" haha. i heard there were sensors on the doors n tt the doors wont close/ train wont move if they're object so i tentatively stuffed my bag inbetween the doors. lol. didnt work thou. mayb no sensors there.

at the cafe, chitchat-ed and had some food.. haha... love hanging out with them. sigh, too bad it seems sinyee n nianya sick/tired and cant make it. havent seen them in ages!

and vanda too.... miss her. havent seen or spoken to her in 2005!

i like ny. nice people(well. others had not so good experiences but so far i found most to be nice, normal ppl ^^).nice OG(ah. cant go OG outing tmr =( ). i have a nice CT teacher(form teacher?).nice new school. i like the maths n bio lecturers. yeah. good good..most prolly stayin on if results permit!

maths: mr chooi. a cute amusing kinda uncly/grandfatherly guy. humourous kinda, in his own way haha...

bio: mr chan!! kinda strict but he makes bio so interesting. startin with that infomative bio a lvl thingy, to the introductory videos (wished he showed up the whole thing) and today's lecture on classification! such a dry topic but it wasnt at all boring! he showed lots of pics n examples. wasnt looking at the clock every few minutes,waiting for min to tick away, unlike chemistry.

cant believe i'm online at last! =D cant express how glad i am haha.

sorry ppl, didnt have internet connection all of a sudden on saturday. and today, it's back again! dunno what went wrong at all -_-..

friday: whole day was a bore. but disco night rocked =D. had it in the hall, with a DJ (who didnt play very good music =S ) and smoke machines too! had a ball of a time thou i took a while to warm up. always do ^^;

saturday: (very last minute) OG outing.

3-4pm: waitng for ppl(8 altogether btw) -_-.

4-6: pool at lucky plaza! my first time playing! kinda awkward at first.. kinda unnatural u know, hand positioning?! haha. kept losing control of the poolstick, quite embarassing but hey, everybody starts out liddat =P the last round, i got a hang of it n boy it felt good winning that round haha. (played only 2 round)

6-7/8: dinner at lido + talking. boy. derrick kinda prankcalled/disturbed jieying on the phone -_- cant believe him lol.

8-9?- borders. lol! u know those small pocket book that has a wide variety? well we recommanded "sex sex sex" to derrick (who seems dirty minded haha) but he moves on to kamasutra but the former was all words. well, the latter was too haha =). vina then proclaimed she knew where the kamusutra section n proceeded to leading us there but it was all dry books haha. we were den like
"eh, vina, u bluff us lah.. where got kamasutra section? dunno have lah."

we walked behind the borders guy in a row to that who row of sex books =-_-= ^^; kinda awkard!

9-10: HMV + heeren. lol. i got the cd i wanted but then, i wanted another disc! lol. that's what free samplin does..

10-11++: McCafe. had quite an intimate talk over drinks.. about ex-es.. learnt more abt new friends.. felt kinda closer after sharing personal stuff..

sunday: tea ceremony + baby's full month celebration + wedding dinner
woke up with a shock when mom rattled of the day's plan. i only knew abt the dinner! n had planned to go out! tried asking if i could jus go for dinner but mom was so freakin stubborn >_<, citing i went out the previous day was a reason i couldnt -_-. yeah right. even if i didnt go out on saturday, i still would have to go for all.. didnt even know who the couple was. but anyway. decided to not be in a bad mood and behave as i would have if i didnt have plans since i would otherwise spoil my own day n family's too. y make a bad day even worse? ^_^

turns out, i DO know the groom! it's him! my favourite older relative! kinda like an elder brother but not that close. when i was young, used to vist greatgrandma who stayed at her son's house. he was her grandson. my 2nd cousin. aroun like 18? haha. he used to pass the phone to me, with is gf on the line. he had this garfield post-stick thingy which he request i wrote something (i forgot what) with a pink pilot Hi-Tecpoint!n he pasted that poststick prominately on his table..he let me play red alert on his comp too! haha. the only times i ever played red alert. later thou, greatgrandma moved to an old folks home so we ddint need to go to his house to visit her.. and the next time i know, he's getting married!(well. last time i saw him i was in sec1 or something haha) haha. (prolly in his twenties now)(i cant believe i only learnt his name that day!)

at first at the tea ceremony was super bored n antisocial. but later, grandma asked me help her take photos to =D. haha. regret not bringing my digicam. hers was a film camera! didnt have my nose against the back of the camera since i cant even remember! lol.

for the dinner, i was in my prom dress! haha. by request of mom. my 2nd cousin (same age of me) as going to too, but she "ban-say" me and didnt lol. but anyway, nice to dress-up haha. had light pinkish make up on ^_^. leonard n carol met on ICQ! cool. during one of the times when they were on stage, the curtains behind the stage, covering the length of the hall(?), were drawn to show a enchanting garden, complete with fiary lights! so dramatic and magical lol. the bride n groom were "sabo" by their friends n forced to drink lots... at the end, leonard needed friends to "pull him back" after he leaned forward to shake hands to thank n say bye to guests.. he later threw up =( carol was giddy too =S

monday:
on yucui, mingfen and i went out to sakea sushi for buffet lunch! didnt have so much fun in ages!!! haha. there were two cute waiters haha! the first was a boyish looking guy who spoke v softly n kinda girly-ly so we call him "xiao bai" as in xiao bai lian haha. the other was a malay guy. haha, they provided us some fun ,us laughin to ourselves ^^; and thanks lots yucui for getting me,without a reason, the CD i wanted !!

tuesday:
went back to zhss on tuesday. talked to lots of the teachers(ms maths tan, ms chan, mr won, mr won, huang lao shi, ms long, mr ang) ^_^ they had much advise to give =) it was nice! (thou they kept singling out my dangling earrings! bleh. felt so "bad" i didnt wear them the next day) zhss has nice new dustbins!

wednesday:
went home early that day. boy. it was fantastic! super slack. did nothing but listen to music... den took a long long nap..

haha. i dont remember much of this week actually. had to rack my brains to remember.becos it's like a haze or dream =) kinda like each day merges into the other, no sense of time. like sch hols! haha.

for this whole week, the general feeling was of BLISS! jus so contented and happy with simple things in life. in love with my friends. family. some learning done in sch. music. a good run ( i ran 2.4 on dunno which night haha). a long warm shower... boy, dont need anything else in the world ^_^! (beside my then non-existant internet connection.. missed the msn and blogs!!!)

i really hope this feeling'll last, into next week when tutorials start.....

the quest was boring lah. just lots of walking around. and answering simple question, doing simple task eg count the no. of benches outside the church, memorise the a short notice.. at the firestation/civil def heritage gallery near MICA building, this guy in uniform, first time he asked was "who's takin bio?" wierd. turns out he kinda teaches bio at ny! so cool lol. he teaches like remedial and practicals. friendly indian young guy. lunch was at a cafe at MICA building (this building with the many colourful windows. art gallery place thingy)- nice and surprisingly cheap! ($2-$3/4)

nostalgia today.. cos took walked to zhss that area(lol. was never so pleased at catchin a glimpse of zhss). climbed up that slope to get to serangoon mrt. took 135 =D how zhss-y.

prepartion for babe and hunk pageant: each grp within nazgul sent out a pair and we chose a pair from them to represent nazgul to hunk n babe pageant. it was damn funny! a riot i tell u =D. cos. all of the babes sent out were... GUYS =D woohoo! haha.. there were 2 guys whose waist damn small-they were in a prom like dress and the other in mini skirt! there were two quite muscular ones lol and their clothes not very nice but boy! they were acting so so so girly! =D prolly girly-er can any girl in the sch. one was really really really good. even when he's not on "centerstage" he's still very graceful and flirty lol. the others once they not supposed to be in the "spotlight" (we werent in the hall yet, nieghter was there a stage) they were back to rough, scratch backside(i saw a guy do that k! lol) guys. the really good "babe" even shaved his armpits!!!! of cos he was voted to be nazgul's babe! the hunk was a guy. quite good lookin =D cldnt see properly thou.

lol. so much crossdressing. dont think the govt wld be v happy. lol!

loved the atmosphere in the hall(again) lol. when each faction was called out, that faction would scream their lungs out. so reminds me of harry potter! haha. cheerin was fantastic. cos i believe each wanted their faction's to win.. v nice to shout loud loud with the faction =)cheers frm diff factions, one after another (sometimes simouteously lol)

pageant was v quick n short thou. pair by pair entered hall and we screamed as if they were idols or something lol. zelda had an dressed up anime like character and the hunk came in with the guitar slung behind. cool. sang abit.but the gal not girly one haha. like, normal gal lah =). ithor sent up this malay guy. sang alot. i felt he was most outgoin n comfortable on start. gal was a girly girl but like.. not natural? orisis sent out a guybabe too. cant remember how the hunk was like. oh yeah -_- "zhou jie lun" they chanted when he was on stage. crazy! jay's one and only! haha. didnt look like jay. but he cld play the piano. cldnt hear thou. later each pair went on stage for aroun 5/10/15 min.. short skit. or jus show off. or friendly banter. or strip. lol. next was catwalk.

our babe didnt win(orisis's did)!! ='( so so sad. he deserved it! he shaved his armpit for god's sake! lol =D. hm. was disappointed.. next hunk was annouced. NAZGUL!!! lol. quite surprised. we were countin much more on our babe to win den our hunk =)

house/factions/dwellings. whatever u call them. they really create a sense of unity. when u cheer together u get a sense of belonging. everybody want that. sense of brotherhood/commaradary.. so they create it. great scheme lol =P. and if u have a strong sense of belongin to your house, u'll have a strong sense of belongin to sch too..(eg "oh i love my house! it rocks!" u'll prolly love the sch too). no wonder ppl join gangs lol. strong sense of belonging. u feel accepted n stuff. damn. this isnt clear or what i;m trying to express.. ok. this does it, not in form to blog haha too late n tired now. toodles!

hallo dear loyal readers. (who reads my blog i wonder... bet there are ppl who i can say "didnt know u read my blog!" to if i knew my readership haha)

had games today. glad didnt involve getting muddy or dirty. games were kinda like giant boardgames(sqs drawn on the floor with chalk) with us being the pieces haha... think harry potter and that chessboard =) my OG won lots of games today. more united it seems. played dodgeball too. a first..

learnt another dance. boy. this one's harder. much faster. i was too zombified to remember the moves today. as in to think/run through while dancing what the next move was. ended up in me being kinda blur n messed up. lots of twirlin today -_-. giddy. lol. lucky today my partner was a lil blur too so didnt feel that bad ^^;

that's abt it i think. dont feel like blogging much today. i found myself wondering y i blogged so much.. as in like, give so much details, explaining myself out.. i dont have too what. haha. cos i jus like to "talk"? so friends know how my day was? for me to remember the day? so people know me better? it's kinda wierd.. that i blog for all to see (whether close friends or not) and sms the same stuff to ppl closer to me..

anyway cca. i found out that some ccas are on saturdays!so annoyed at that! cos i firmly believed tt 5day week was implemented. well. loophole: sch's closed on sat but those ccas eg dragonboat, ODAC, are conducted outside sch (on a saturday!). haha. i'm definately not gonna take those having trainin on sat. or those with ridiculour amt of training. according to the PEARLS talk today (well.. i was noddin off.. so may have dreamt some of the info up lol) it's really really hard to get cca pts. and damn student counsil gets lots of pts. all other ccas, particiation pts per yr:1. SC:2 -_-. leadership pts oso the highest. v unfair i feel.

i'm tired. today wasnt all that energy sappin but i'm gonna have an early night. i have even bathed! i think it's the sleeping at 1.30am first night and nearly 2am yesterday night lol

today was much more fun than yesterday =)

had mild games today (tmr's wild games lol). one game involved the entire group squeezin on benches, standing, with almost no space for the last person! then, we had to arrange ourselves accordin to bdays o_O. haha. we cheated. next was a memory game. did involve teamwork thou. easy-peasy.

3rd game, was intepreting 2 simple unrelated pictures.

trick was to of cos split into 2 grps, each in charge of one. pic one's wierd. altogether we got 37 interperations within a time limit! yay. lol.. first pic was harder. wahaha. i took iniative to come out n start the discussion with first pic or the ball wldnt have gotten rolling. nice feeling, that i helped my group..

next had a game that's kinda like "twister". nah, nothin much haha. had a long lunch cos we completed the games early! 10.40-11.15! such an early lunch -_- it's practically breakfest! but, it was really long so had some time to know friends better. gonna confess something: i dont know their names. lol! they'll prolly kill me if they knew lol.

after lunch was "traditional couple dance". i was really curious about the word "traditional". what culture's dance're we gonna learn? turn's out it was erm "NY's" culture lol. they teach it to year ones every year so it's "traditional"-_-. lol! hm,when we first watched the SC/OL do it we were like "crazy! how on earth r we gonna learn ALL those moves!" kinda sceptical. learn move by moves.. turned out quite easy! well except for the waltz part. no problem for me since e1 already learnt it in sec3 camp =) lol.. i ended up leading my partner(he picked it up fast but get a lil confuse sometimes ^^). i'm lucky i wasnt pair with someone with two left feet ^^;. the dance looked v aerobic-y on stage but it was fun doing it lah haha. learnt turning/ twirling today haha.. i think i like dancing =)

later was like cheering btween the factions =D atmosphere was really good. everybody was cheering! "re nao". and the president of SC/MoMo/xiangxiang's really really humerous! lol! fun guy =D my OLs best haha. made faction time enjoyable.

so basically, that was today =D. ended early too(3.10pm)! a bonus! haha. it was fun, better than yest =D

miscellous stuff: NY's sch sinks are SQUARE! how cute!!! lol..it's not basins but kinda like the cut into the table-top kind? yeah. and. the vending machine sells oreos and twisties (blah, seen b4) and INSTANT NOODLES!like8 over flavours? lol. forgive my countrybumkin-ness.. nvr seen instand noodles being sold in vending machines b4.. and only 90cents too.

made a few decisions today.

subj combi: 3 subjs- bio, chem, maths. "Huh?(!) why not trying four subj?" some ppl asked. well... i didnt do like fantastically well in secondary school and would like concentratin on 3 and i dont want long days n end up being tired =) anyway, most courses in uni only require chem/maths.chose bio cos i like bio lots and i dont intent to be an engineer so no need for phy. chem is req for many courses so no choice. yeah.

at around 9pm, during short online conversation with nianya i suddenly decided tat even if i can make it into aj, i'm stayin in ny.

summery:
1. having friends n familiarity vs starting out all over again (imagine orientation two!)
2. new compound vs old compound

cos i cant stand going thru startin all over again, in unfamiliar sch grds n a sea of unfamiliar faces if i transfer. i did say i didnt mind aj or ny but i think i wanted aj (kinda cos.. it more wellknown than NY but more of becos it was v near my place) but on 2nd thoughts, really doesnt matter ^^; (afterall i'll be travelling to&fro serangoon ave 3 for 4 yrs already, 2 more yrs wont hurt haha) another pt: after ny's new new compound, i cant bring myself to school in an old old sch compound ^^;;

anyway.. it's better to have decided. yest and today, i was still treating ny as "may not be permanant" so i hold back and kinda detach myself somehow(so it'll be much easlier to transfer). now i can start liking it and put in more effort in getting know my new friends. =D things are gonna be somehow easier now that i have come to a decision =)

tomorrow will probably have to make another decision: CCA.

today morning, i put on my zhss sch uniform.. ate breakfest n got in the car. down the familiar route i havent been on since november.. looking forward to school. den i remembered i wasnt going to zhss, not walking briskly to the classroom so i could meet n shout "hi" to my friends.. haha. nah, it's been at the back of my head, jc, it jus kinda hit me =)

as i walked towards that massive building (hey, it's the biggest sch I schooled in lol.. thou i know other jcs much bigger.. i dont know how much bigger so heck =D haha), was getting excited, plus i suddenly realised i may meet some of my primary school mates!(only saw 1 thou) and. it was cool to walk around n sms w/o it being "illegal"! lol.

lots of unfamiliar faces/friends-i-hv-not-yet made around. seeing liyana/zhss ppl waving n recieveing sms-es were nice =). wandered around the campass.. nice campass =) with lots of beatiful paintings which i hvnt got time to look at properly yet. aim was to look for yucui -_-. didnt find her till i got into the hall =(. but i did see lots of np ppl. was nice. n i got surpriseS. qiao ru and weiyu!! haha.. those cute friends. and. huishan.. o-kie.......

hall was like a carnival. 4 colours. lots of flags with groupnumbers on it. and 4 big flags with Zelda(green), Ithor(blue), Osrisis(yellow?), Nazgul(red) on them. basically, we were split into that 4 main groups, and sub-divided further. i took a seat. and realised i was sitting next to eugene, my neighbour 2 doors away lol.

didnt hear a word of the principal's speech lol. anyway, the orientation's called Zion. "last world" cos next batch not more 1st 3 months. there was a short rather cute abeit lame skit. den split into 4 main grps for ice breakers..

8-11. learn names. (arg!! i suck at learning names! too many! chinese names hard to remember! but then again, think of how the malay students r coping!) played simple kindergarden games where they get the guys n girls to touch (hands only lah!) lol.. orientations always liddat. learnt lots of cheers but of cos everybody not v enthu lol. still, my orientation leaders (OL) were very sporty n didnt get v exasperated. and funny (in other words, lames lol) there were quite some cheers tt i heard b4. some didnt hear b4. interesting. lol. we dont like shouting; OLs always say we clap well ^^;;. always thought there werent any cheers besides the ones np always uses well i'm wrong! lol. there're some cheers i dont know.. wonder who thinks of such things -_- (i'm darn glad i dont need to think of a grp name n cheer thou!)

i did feel wierd shouting "Nazgul" cos the lord of the rings fan in me knows what they are...ringwraiths.

oh yeah. did make some friends =) i like ashshyura most. oh yeah while walkin i chatted with this gal.. she was really negative -_-. not in my group. hm. yeah. nice ppl lah mostly =). i like my group leader too, kaiwei. n yes she's a gal. haha when she first called i was wonderin if she was a guy or gal. oh yeah, i saw charline(sp)! she zhss basketballer. it was nice. we were both in aitong pri, zhss and ny now! lol. if we were born same yr i think we would be good friends. she's a friendly friendly fun person =)

yucui wasnt in Nazgul, niether was she in osirism, the group which nazgul is paired with for lunch etc.. well..... i guess in a way it's good. forces me to mix around. cos otherwise we both would jus stick together. after orientation.. i would like to do that.. but still have some new friends lah =)

sometimes it felt wierd sitting with so many strangers.. it's like. being in heeren where everybody's strangers n everybody sits together n starts/have to make friends lol.

sch compound's new and modern. and incomplete. lol. hall's airconditioned! much better that aj's.... it has squashcourts! i've seen squash courts only twice. in my old condo and today.

hm. ny has catholic high ppl, marist,chij, and well. lots of other sch uniforms which i dont recognise. lol.sch uniform makes it easy to look for zhss ppl.. kinda messy, the colours n diff uniform.

after lunch was the boring part. talks. first university talks - NTU and NUS. nus person nt going straight to the pt n talked lots of stuff we dont care abt.. jus tell us the courses n the requiremts lah -_-.. by the end of the uni talks, boy legs were hurting! Suan. was sitting crosslegged. which i havent since the last morning assembly! gosh. it was from 1215-145. and after that, subj combi talk. 2 hrs! felt like eternity! gosh it jus dragged on and on and .......... lol. my handphone's my friend. ^_^.

the woman who talked abt science.. boy. she started from. SCHOOL VALUES! talk abt science lah, please ^^;;. after she did talk abt science, she talked abt critical thinkin, no spoonfeeding etc =S. nag. (i found out from kenneth she's david's mom! i remember she came look for mr tan, my P5 teacher. to agrue over his marks -_-. was unreasonable. mr tan was v irritated.)

actually..she caught my ear when she did talk about interactive learning.. comin armed with question in class, discussions, learning by really gettnig involved. that would be ideal n v good environment but i dont think it'll happen..

overall.. today freaking boring BUT nothing bad happened, i made friends, i laughed and i met yucui so yeah. today was good =).

tomorrow, the real orientation starts.. games n stuff.. i'll be "-_-cheer again?!"tmr haha but orientations n cheers go hand in hand lol.. gonna learn "tradition couple dance"(o_O?) tmr. haha. quite looking forward to it..interesting. AND. i end at 2.45 tmr! (i supposed to end 4.30 today but ended at 5.. so i guess add 0.5h to all timings haha)

oh yeah. another thing i'm damn glad about is: you can take any subj combi you want, disregarding your prelims. cos i did badly for bio prelims -_- b4. ususally prerepresit's b3. but den again, someone reminded me bio no prerepresit. but i'm still glad haha..i think i'll prolly take 3 a lvl subj being bio, chem and maths. dont dare go triple science lol. dont think i can handle it..

it was a good year.. lots of good memories. grown much closer to friends..

early in the year was the camp craft competition n preparation (boy.. it really seem like ages ago... didnt feel like 2004 at all). will nvr forget those days (n even if i do, it'll be on blogger!)... the lying on the grass n really talking nonense! enjoying the company of friends, laughin at the lamest jokes! lol. i speak as if it was a leisure camp. sure there was hardship but hey, i remember the good things ;-). arh.. that hot hot sun, or, the muddy,squashy field,snapping twines, ringing sound of pegging, the monotonousness of it, sir being an ass at times lol. we improved =D ups and downs at the competitions.. hahaa not to forget the yummy steamboat at the end of everything! dont ever know if i'll get the chance to idly lay on the grass, chitchatting.. got really close the camp craft gals n guys =D zhenting! qiaoru! shufen! jueling! yvette! i'll never forget your.. perverseness ;D haha.. netball competition. boy i loved the class spirit! we were screamin our lungs out.. extasy with each point n match won =) cheering on fellow classmates as one. 4e1. =^_^= lol. lame..

i became closer to vanda.. lol. the crazy things we used to do! and the songs we used to sing =) (and the "come what may" zhiliang sang come to think abt it lol) weiyu n qiaoru =D i love watchin them interact. just so cute!. tricia.. the person i'm most comfortable with.. can really talk rubbish lol.sharon! really nice bubbly personality.too bad i only got to know her around september! like her!

my group of friends. we dont really talk much or are v v close. but. the company was great =D didnt need to talk.. we were comfortable enought being with each other w/o much words =) used to go mingfen's place to chill out. talk. sing. chitchat. lol. vending machine n where we uesd to sit..

year of the o levels. boy i tell u this is the first time i worked so freaking hard n was so disciplaned..went to the library almost everday, ususally til 9 or 8-ish. finished the bio chem n phy TYS. i'm really proud of myself. however i feel i may have started getting serious too late(2/3 days after prelims ended)..i slacked much during the prelims=(. it would have been a very "no life" period if i didnt make friends with carol n sherley and alan =) they were the familiar face i needed during that lonely period of studying. not to forget irene and dragg and jade+other st nicks gals =D sense of belonging haha. i enjoyed my first real meal at a hawker centre with u guys ^_^ (well. the 2nd meal too haha) [sigh, however i havent bothered visiting the cafe galilee staff in the hols.. i guess i didnt need them now. it's a sad thing.. i really must one of these days =)]

i will miss zhonghua.lol.. the prefect chasing us out b4 morning assembly. boring speeches. reflection days which i always sleep through lol. avoiding of e lim n disciple mistress (gosh i forgot her name =^_^=) in case they pick on u (hair/ankle socks). going opposite for lunch. 7-11. otah. SSP =D. i like peer tuitoring most. most relaxed...male staff toilet outside our class that me/tricia/vanda always frequent haha.. my dear tumored plants outside the class! (biotech team oso means lots to me =).. the rushing of the poster, report and presenting/preparing at ngee ann on the eve of bio prelim jeez!)

the teachers:
fun lessons (in aircon-ed function rooms =P )with ms ow where she'll read out compos n sometimes give us massive lecture on life when she's piss/we deserve it. a teacher u wont mess with. really really witty and sacastic. she doesnt mind being the butt for her own joke lol..

physics lesson where mr chua'll catch me for sleepin in class (n i'll jus repeat the last sentence he said! haha.. i dunno why i can do that but i'm really asleep. i dont ever know the pervious sentence he said)

i love the lessons with huang lao shi! his many stories on his army days..thinkin of sentences/"zhao ju" his sacasim. i feel he really cares aboutus (i think he was really cute when performing on youth day(in bu4 shan1 bu4 shi4)! haha. he waves at us n we all screamed as if he was jay!)

mr yeo and his digressions^_^. the teacher with a real passion. he got quite pissed with us a few times.. feel kinda bad. really loves his wife n kid.haha he's quite bias thou. nice guy he is. and his singing =)

mr won. dont like him but he's actually ok lah with his 3M tales n tips. dont know if i dont like him cos i dont like chemistry or if it's the other way round lol.

ms tan!! i like her. she's so cute! "press your calculater, too-to-to-to~! what is the answer?" "you-hoo~" hee. she's kinda absent minded n maths doesnt seem that powerful.. always bullied by our class guys ^^; poor ms tan. i alway kinda lied to her cos i didnt do hmwk! she called me sleeping beauty once -_- when she caught me sleepin lol. vanda told me she called me many time! (vanda had to nudge me to wake me up lol).

ms chan and her nagging lol.. kinda a waste of time. but hey our dear form teacher =D. and who can forget her hot number on youth day.. tata young -sexy bitchy naughty me! boy can she move lol. n she got dunked at fun fair! she's nice when she isnt grouchy. haha doesnt catch me for long nails!

suddenly thought of lower sec stuff =)music lesson with e6 was freaking fun with likkhian n zhiliang fooling around in the back row. home econs n DnT =D leisure lessons i called them.. cooking was interesting cos i dont help out in the kitchen (except when mom's baking cakes). DnT was totally something i never did b4. making something always gives me a sense of pride =) lol. always remember the woody smell of the workroom. and art. love-hate relationship. liked the lessons n the projects (=D the giant kettle n working toaster we made was smashin!) but boy i hated the exams. twice a year, i would stay up the whole night (no sleep at all!) to complete prep-work (given 2 weeks but i started only on the eve ^^;) and sigh, the singing of jay's song during free periods! so carefree!

there was prom- first time i put on makeup n dressup n contacts. bintan- first time i went on holiday with friends. graduation day- first time i cried in front of classmates. o lvl preparetion- first time i studied so so hard. jay concert- first time i screamed myself silly for Jay!(lol.. i used to think those gals screaming after boybands were silly). christmas- first time i got a gift from a guy =) thank you. and many very wordy, gorgeous cards frm friends, thanks!









love 4e1. thou we arent quite like e7, with all their multiple class outing (envious lol) nor are we that united, i just love it =D nice class it is..

2005
resolutions.
1. keep my friends =) make a effort.. my friends are too dear to lose due to drifting apart.

2. do all my tutorials. that was what mr yap, my maths tuition teacher who really motivated me, advised. cos they wont check on you. and me being me will jus let it accumilate and fall behind in school. cant let that happen. gonna use the determination that i mustered to study at the library daily to do them. yes. i must.

3. dont judge/sterotype ppl/dont put myself down/be more open. in 2004, i was silly. i picked out the smart smart ppl in class n made myself believed they didnt want to talk to us averagers so i didnt bother talking to them n limited my social circle -_-. they didnt think that way; i put them on a pedestral myself. i read somewhere u decide how ppl treat u. i knew it was true then, now i firmly believe it lol. yes. this year i will not feel small. i will be confident. i am as good as anyone else! better in some ways, worse in others but it all evens out, even if it doesnt seem as such. dont be intimidated by goodlooking ppl and smart ppl ^^;

4. be neater, handwriting wise. lol. anyone who've seen my handwriting would agree i should. i dont really mind it actually =) haha makes me special i feel =P in midst of the the very neat girls(the only not neat girls i know:daphne, maybelle[to a smaller extent]){lol. u know why my handwriting's so bad? i nvr took an effort. always rushed to finish hmwk asap(or not do it at all ^^;;) so i could PLAY in pri sch haha.} i dont mind but examiners n teachers do mind.. it's possible. maybelle's handwriting really improved in less than a year!! i couldnt even recognise it lol. and i could read it!

i think that's it. i'm quite satisified with how i am =) any areas my friends think i really really really need to work on, tell me i'll consider if i will ^_^

today i cleared my table. boy. 6 plastic bags to be thrown away. may post photos up if i'm free haha..

i would love going back to when we only had to worry about class test.. when we were free enought to slack in class after dismissal. those were nice times =). but. i had my time, i've already had my chance n went thought that phrase in life. i'm satisfied =) and i'm quite ready to enter jc.

not really 100% enthu thou, who wld be.. new year, new school, new friends, new style of schooling. can be quite intimadating. gonna look at orientation as 1 week extension of sch hols. haha if we had to start studyin on 3rd Jan my body prolly wldnt be able to take it lol. it'll be fun, thou lame. lol. what has to be done, has to be done lah. wonder what the student leaders have came up with.. wonder kinda of ppl i'll meet. so much possiblities =) hopefully i may find a good friend! in a class surely u'll make friends like.. frm sec1-2/sec3-4 new class but still made good friends. jc is not unlike the above mention so hopefully those concerned about jc n making friend dont worry too much k? cos u've been thru it b4, u'll go thru jc n make good friends again!

IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!! it's worth MORE lol.

met up with my friend. went out with minfen and yucui to amk lib cafe.

went home. took the longest bubblest bath i had in ages!

what a fantastic day =D and great way to start the weekends! (*singsong manner* no waking up for school, no waking up for school!! XD)

i ponned china studies today (last period) cos mfen was in NY! woohoo. not only mfen. other gals frm tj too ^_^ den slacked at the library. really nice it was (i think our lib has a v small range of fiction thou).

went to TJ b4 3 cos mfen n karen had cca.. had chicken rice there! their food's really much better than ny's. lol. (but then again, it's really easy for food to be better den ny's). NY's compud's is newer den tj.. thou smaller area (makes up by buildin upwards. it's 5 storeys! compared to tj'd 2/3). ny's layout much friendlier too.. got kinda lost in tj lol. but tj does have it's charm too.. spacious n greenery. (but still old! kinda reminds of a pri sch).. can grow to love it thou, it given the same, as yucui says, it has "xing qie gan", cos of it's oldness. brand new compounds are kinda cold n unfriendly. but! of cos i prefer ny haha.not worth it travellin so freakin far to tj!! travel one day already cant stand it..

oh yeah. the bus journey there was really fun! karen, yucui, mfen n me were being v lame ^^;;; good fun. at bedok, these two guys were blockin our way on the escalator. by the time reach the platform, "doors closing" haha. i heard there were sensors on the doors n tt the doors wont close/ train wont move if they're object so i tentatively stuffed my bag inbetween the doors. lol. didnt work thou. mayb no sensors there.

at the cafe, chitchat-ed and had some food.. haha... love hanging out with them. sigh, too bad it seems sinyee n nianya sick/tired and cant make it. havent seen them in ages!

and vanda too.... miss her. havent seen or spoken to her in 2005!

i like ny. nice people(well. others had not so good experiences but so far i found most to be nice, normal ppl ^^).nice OG(ah. cant go OG outing tmr =( ). i have a nice CT teacher(form teacher?).nice new school. i like the maths n bio lecturers. yeah. good good..most prolly stayin on if results permit!

maths: mr chooi. a cute amusing kinda uncly/grandfatherly guy. humourous kinda, in his own way haha...

bio: mr chan!! kinda strict but he makes bio so interesting. startin with that infomative bio a lvl thingy, to the introductory videos (wished he showed up the whole thing) and today's lecture on classification! such a dry topic but it wasnt at all boring! he showed lots of pics n examples. wasnt looking at the clock every few minutes,waiting for min to tick away, unlike chemistry.

cant believe i'm online at last! =D cant express how glad i am haha.

sorry ppl, didnt have internet connection all of a sudden on saturday. and today, it's back again! dunno what went wrong at all -_-..

friday: whole day was a bore. but disco night rocked =D. had it in the hall, with a DJ (who didnt play very good music =S ) and smoke machines too! had a ball of a time thou i took a while to warm up. always do ^^;

saturday: (very last minute) OG outing.

3-4pm: waitng for ppl(8 altogether btw) -_-.

4-6: pool at lucky plaza! my first time playing! kinda awkward at first.. kinda unnatural u know, hand positioning?! haha. kept losing control of the poolstick, quite embarassing but hey, everybody starts out liddat =P the last round, i got a hang of it n boy it felt good winning that round haha. (played only 2 round)

6-7/8: dinner at lido + talking. boy. derrick kinda prankcalled/disturbed jieying on the phone -_- cant believe him lol.

8-9?- borders. lol! u know those small pocket book that has a wide variety? well we recommanded "sex sex sex" to derrick (who seems dirty minded haha) but he moves on to kamasutra but the former was all words. well, the latter was too haha =). vina then proclaimed she knew where the kamusutra section n proceeded to leading us there but it was all dry books haha. we were den like
"eh, vina, u bluff us lah.. where got kamasutra section? dunno have lah."

we walked behind the borders guy in a row to that who row of sex books =-_-= ^^; kinda awkard!

9-10: HMV + heeren. lol. i got the cd i wanted but then, i wanted another disc! lol. that's what free samplin does..

10-11++: McCafe. had quite an intimate talk over drinks.. about ex-es.. learnt more abt new friends.. felt kinda closer after sharing personal stuff..

sunday: tea ceremony + baby's full month celebration + wedding dinner
woke up with a shock when mom rattled of the day's plan. i only knew abt the dinner! n had planned to go out! tried asking if i could jus go for dinner but mom was so freakin stubborn >_<, citing i went out the previous day was a reason i couldnt -_-. yeah right. even if i didnt go out on saturday, i still would have to go for all.. didnt even know who the couple was. but anyway. decided to not be in a bad mood and behave as i would have if i didnt have plans since i would otherwise spoil my own day n family's too. y make a bad day even worse? ^_^

turns out, i DO know the groom! it's him! my favourite older relative! kinda like an elder brother but not that close. when i was young, used to vist greatgrandma who stayed at her son's house. he was her grandson. my 2nd cousin. aroun like 18? haha. he used to pass the phone to me, with is gf on the line. he had this garfield post-stick thingy which he request i wrote something (i forgot what) with a pink pilot Hi-Tecpoint!n he pasted that poststick prominately on his table..he let me play red alert on his comp too! haha. the only times i ever played red alert. later thou, greatgrandma moved to an old folks home so we ddint need to go to his house to visit her.. and the next time i know, he's getting married!(well. last time i saw him i was in sec1 or something haha) haha. (prolly in his twenties now)(i cant believe i only learnt his name that day!)

at first at the tea ceremony was super bored n antisocial. but later, grandma asked me help her take photos to =D. haha. regret not bringing my digicam. hers was a film camera! didnt have my nose against the back of the camera since i cant even remember! lol.

for the dinner, i was in my prom dress! haha. by request of mom. my 2nd cousin (same age of me) as going to too, but she "ban-say" me and didnt lol. but anyway, nice to dress-up haha. had light pinkish make up on ^_^. leonard n carol met on ICQ! cool. during one of the times when they were on stage, the curtains behind the stage, covering the length of the hall(?), were drawn to show a enchanting garden, complete with fiary lights! so dramatic and magical lol. the bride n groom were "sabo" by their friends n forced to drink lots... at the end, leonard needed friends to "pull him back" after he leaned forward to shake hands to thank n say bye to guests.. he later threw up =( carol was giddy too =S

monday:
on yucui, mingfen and i went out to sakea sushi for buffet lunch! didnt have so much fun in ages!!! haha. there were two cute waiters haha! the first was a boyish looking guy who spoke v softly n kinda girly-ly so we call him "xiao bai" as in xiao bai lian haha. the other was a malay guy. haha, they provided us some fun ,us laughin to ourselves ^^; and thanks lots yucui for getting me,without a reason, the CD i wanted !!

tuesday:
went back to zhss on tuesday. talked to lots of the teachers(ms maths tan, ms chan, mr won, mr won, huang lao shi, ms long, mr ang) ^_^ they had much advise to give =) it was nice! (thou they kept singling out my dangling earrings! bleh. felt so "bad" i didnt wear them the next day) zhss has nice new dustbins!

wednesday:
went home early that day. boy. it was fantastic! super slack. did nothing but listen to music... den took a long long nap..

haha. i dont remember much of this week actually. had to rack my brains to remember.becos it's like a haze or dream =) kinda like each day merges into the other, no sense of time. like sch hols! haha.

for this whole week, the general feeling was of BLISS! jus so contented and happy with simple things in life. in love with my friends. family. some learning done in sch. music. a good run ( i ran 2.4 on dunno which night haha). a long warm shower... boy, dont need anything else in the world ^_^! (beside my then non-existant internet connection.. missed the msn and blogs!!!)

i really hope this feeling'll last, into next week when tutorials start.....

the quest was boring lah. just lots of walking around. and answering simple question, doing simple task eg count the no. of benches outside the church, memorise the a short notice.. at the firestation/civil def heritage gallery near MICA building, this guy in uniform, first time he asked was "who's takin bio?" wierd. turns out he kinda teaches bio at ny! so cool lol. he teaches like remedial and practicals. friendly indian young guy. lunch was at a cafe at MICA building (this building with the many colourful windows. art gallery place thingy)- nice and surprisingly cheap! ($2-$3/4)

nostalgia today.. cos took walked to zhss that area(lol. was never so pleased at catchin a glimpse of zhss). climbed up that slope to get to serangoon mrt. took 135 =D how zhss-y.

prepartion for babe and hunk pageant: each grp within nazgul sent out a pair and we chose a pair from them to represent nazgul to hunk n babe pageant. it was damn funny! a riot i tell u =D. cos. all of the babes sent out were... GUYS =D woohoo! haha.. there were 2 guys whose waist damn small-they were in a prom like dress and the other in mini skirt! there were two quite muscular ones lol and their clothes not very nice but boy! they were acting so so so girly! =D prolly girly-er can any girl in the sch. one was really really really good. even when he's not on "centerstage" he's still very graceful and flirty lol. the others once they not supposed to be in the "spotlight" (we werent in the hall yet, nieghter was there a stage) they were back to rough, scratch backside(i saw a guy do that k! lol) guys. the really good "babe" even shaved his armpits!!!! of cos he was voted to be nazgul's babe! the hunk was a guy. quite good lookin =D cldnt see properly thou.

lol. so much crossdressing. dont think the govt wld be v happy. lol!

loved the atmosphere in the hall(again) lol. when each faction was called out, that faction would scream their lungs out. so reminds me of harry potter! haha. cheerin was fantastic. cos i believe each wanted their faction's to win.. v nice to shout loud loud with the faction =)cheers frm diff factions, one after another (sometimes simouteously lol)

pageant was v quick n short thou. pair by pair entered hall and we screamed as if they were idols or something lol. zelda had an dressed up anime like character and the hunk came in with the guitar slung behind. cool. sang abit.but the gal not girly one haha. like, normal gal lah =). ithor sent up this malay guy. sang alot. i felt he was most outgoin n comfortable on start. gal was a girly girl but like.. not natural? orisis sent out a guybabe too. cant remember how the hunk was like. oh yeah -_- "zhou jie lun" they chanted when he was on stage. crazy! jay's one and only! haha. didnt look like jay. but he cld play the piano. cldnt hear thou. later each pair went on stage for aroun 5/10/15 min.. short skit. or jus show off. or friendly banter. or strip. lol. next was catwalk.

our babe didnt win(orisis's did)!! ='( so so sad. he deserved it! he shaved his armpit for god's sake! lol =D. hm. was disappointed.. next hunk was annouced. NAZGUL!!! lol. quite surprised. we were countin much more on our babe to win den our hunk =)

house/factions/dwellings. whatever u call them. they really create a sense of unity. when u cheer together u get a sense of belonging. everybody want that. sense of brotherhood/commaradary.. so they create it. great scheme lol =P. and if u have a strong sense of belongin to your house, u'll have a strong sense of belongin to sch too..(eg "oh i love my house! it rocks!" u'll prolly love the sch too). no wonder ppl join gangs lol. strong sense of belonging. u feel accepted n stuff. damn. this isnt clear or what i;m trying to express.. ok. this does it, not in form to blog haha too late n tired now. toodles!

had games today. glad didnt involve getting muddy or dirty. games were kinda like giant boardgames(sqs drawn on the floor with chalk) with us being the pieces haha... think harry potter and that chessboard =) my OG won lots of games today. more united it seems. played dodgeball too. a first..

learnt another dance. boy. this one's harder. much faster. i was too zombified to remember the moves today. as in to think/run through while dancing what the next move was. ended up in me being kinda blur n messed up. lots of twirlin today -_-. giddy. lol. lucky today my partner was a lil blur too so didnt feel that bad ^^;

that's abt it i think. dont feel like blogging much today. i found myself wondering y i blogged so much.. as in like, give so much details, explaining myself out.. i dont have too what. haha. cos i jus like to "talk"? so friends know how my day was? for me to remember the day? so people know me better? it's kinda wierd.. that i blog for all to see (whether close friends or not) and sms the same stuff to ppl closer to me..

anyway cca. i found out that some ccas are on saturdays!so annoyed at that! cos i firmly believed tt 5day week was implemented. well. loophole: sch's closed on sat but those ccas eg dragonboat, ODAC, are conducted outside sch (on a saturday!). haha. i'm definately not gonna take those having trainin on sat. or those with ridiculour amt of training. according to the PEARLS talk today (well.. i was noddin off.. so may have dreamt some of the info up lol) it's really really hard to get cca pts. and damn student counsil gets lots of pts. all other ccas, particiation pts per yr:1. SC:2 -_-. leadership pts oso the highest. v unfair i feel.

i'm tired. today wasnt all that energy sappin but i'm gonna have an early night. i have even bathed! i think it's the sleeping at 1.30am first night and nearly 2am yesterday night lol

today was much more fun than yesterday =)

had mild games today (tmr's wild games lol). one game involved the entire group squeezin on benches, standing, with almost no space for the last person! then, we had to arrange ourselves accordin to bdays o_O. haha. we cheated. next was a memory game. did involve teamwork thou. easy-peasy.

3rd game, was intepreting 2 simple unrelated pictures.

trick was to of cos split into 2 grps, each in charge of one. pic one's wierd. altogether we got 37 interperations within a time limit! yay. lol.. first pic was harder. wahaha. i took iniative to come out n start the discussion with first pic or the ball wldnt have gotten rolling. nice feeling, that i helped my group..

next had a game that's kinda like "twister". nah, nothin much haha. had a long lunch cos we completed the games early! 10.40-11.15! such an early lunch -_- it's practically breakfest! but, it was really long so had some time to know friends better. gonna confess something: i dont know their names. lol! they'll prolly kill me if they knew lol.

after lunch was "traditional couple dance". i was really curious about the word "traditional". what culture's dance're we gonna learn? turn's out it was erm "NY's" culture lol. they teach it to year ones every year so it's "traditional"-_-. lol! hm,when we first watched the SC/OL do it we were like "crazy! how on earth r we gonna learn ALL those moves!" kinda sceptical. learn move by moves.. turned out quite easy! well except for the waltz part. no problem for me since e1 already learnt it in sec3 camp =) lol.. i ended up leading my partner(he picked it up fast but get a lil confuse sometimes ^^). i'm lucky i wasnt pair with someone with two left feet ^^;. the dance looked v aerobic-y on stage but it was fun doing it lah haha. learnt turning/ twirling today haha.. i think i like dancing =)

later was like cheering btween the factions =D atmosphere was really good. everybody was cheering! "re nao". and the president of SC/MoMo/xiangxiang's really really humerous! lol! fun guy =D my OLs best haha. made faction time enjoyable.

so basically, that was today =D. ended early too(3.10pm)! a bonus! haha. it was fun, better than yest =D

miscellous stuff: NY's sch sinks are SQUARE! how cute!!! lol..it's not basins but kinda like the cut into the table-top kind? yeah. and. the vending machine sells oreos and twisties (blah, seen b4) and INSTANT NOODLES!like8 over flavours? lol. forgive my countrybumkin-ness.. nvr seen instand noodles being sold in vending machines b4.. and only 90cents too.

"Huh?(!) why not trying four subj?" some ppl asked. well... i didnt do like fantastically well in secondary school and would like concentratin on 3 and i dont want long days n end up being tired =) anyway, most courses in uni only require chem/maths.chose bio cos i like bio lots and i dont intent to be an engineer so no need for phy. chem is req for many courses so no choice. yeah.

at around 9pm, during short online conversation with nianya i suddenly decided tat even if i can make it into aj, i'm stayin in ny.

summery:
1. having friends n familiarity vs starting out all over again (imagine orientation two!)
2. new compound vs old compound

cos i cant stand going thru startin all over again, in unfamiliar sch grds n a sea of unfamiliar faces if i transfer. i did say i didnt mind aj or ny but i think i wanted aj (kinda cos.. it more wellknown than NY but more of becos it was v near my place) but on 2nd thoughts, really doesnt matter ^^; (afterall i'll be travelling to&fro serangoon ave 3 for 4 yrs already, 2 more yrs wont hurt haha) another pt: after ny's new new compound, i cant bring myself to school in an old old sch compound ^^;;

anyway.. it's better to have decided. yest and today, i was still treating ny as "may not be permanant" so i hold back and kinda detach myself somehow(so it'll be much easlier to transfer). now i can start liking it and put in more effort in getting know my new friends. =D things are gonna be somehow easier now that i have come to a decision =)

tomorrow will probably have to make another decision: CCA.

today morning, i put on my zhss sch uniform.. ate breakfest n got in the car. down the familiar route i havent been on since november.. looking forward to school. den i remembered i wasnt going to zhss, not walking briskly to the classroom so i could meet n shout "hi" to my friends.. haha. nah, it's been at the back of my head, jc, it jus kinda hit me =)

as i walked towards that massive building (hey, it's the biggest sch I schooled in lol.. thou i know other jcs much bigger.. i dont know how much bigger so heck =D haha), was getting excited, plus i suddenly realised i may meet some of my primary school mates!(only saw 1 thou) and. it was cool to walk around n sms w/o it being "illegal"! lol.

lots of unfamiliar faces/friends-i-hv-not-yet made around. seeing liyana/zhss ppl waving n recieveing sms-es were nice =). wandered around the campass.. nice campass =) with lots of beatiful paintings which i hvnt got time to look at properly yet. aim was to look for yucui -_-. didnt find her till i got into the hall =(. but i did see lots of np ppl. was nice. n i got surpriseS. qiao ru and weiyu!! haha.. those cute friends. and. huishan.. o-kie.......

hall was like a carnival. 4 colours. lots of flags with groupnumbers on it. and 4 big flags with Zelda(green), Ithor(blue), Osrisis(yellow?), Nazgul(red) on them. basically, we were split into that 4 main groups, and sub-divided further. i took a seat. and realised i was sitting next to eugene, my neighbour 2 doors away lol.

didnt hear a word of the principal's speech lol. anyway, the orientation's called Zion. "last world" cos next batch not more 1st 3 months. there was a short rather cute abeit lame skit. den split into 4 main grps for ice breakers..

8-11. learn names. (arg!! i suck at learning names! too many! chinese names hard to remember! but then again, think of how the malay students r coping!) played simple kindergarden games where they get the guys n girls to touch (hands only lah!) lol.. orientations always liddat. learnt lots of cheers but of cos everybody not v enthu lol. still, my orientation leaders (OL) were very sporty n didnt get v exasperated. and funny (in other words, lames lol) there were quite some cheers tt i heard b4. some didnt hear b4. interesting. lol. we dont like shouting; OLs always say we clap well ^^;;. always thought there werent any cheers besides the ones np always uses well i'm wrong! lol. there're some cheers i dont know.. wonder who thinks of such things -_- (i'm darn glad i dont need to think of a grp name n cheer thou!)

i did feel wierd shouting "Nazgul" cos the lord of the rings fan in me knows what they are...ringwraiths.

oh yeah. did make some friends =) i like ashshyura most. oh yeah while walkin i chatted with this gal.. she was really negative -_-. not in my group. hm. yeah. nice ppl lah mostly =). i like my group leader too, kaiwei. n yes she's a gal. haha when she first called i was wonderin if she was a guy or gal. oh yeah, i saw charline(sp)! she zhss basketballer. it was nice. we were both in aitong pri, zhss and ny now! lol. if we were born same yr i think we would be good friends. she's a friendly friendly fun person =)

yucui wasnt in Nazgul, niether was she in osirism, the group which nazgul is paired with for lunch etc.. well..... i guess in a way it's good. forces me to mix around. cos otherwise we both would jus stick together. after orientation.. i would like to do that.. but still have some new friends lah =)

sometimes it felt wierd sitting with so many strangers.. it's like. being in heeren where everybody's strangers n everybody sits together n starts/have to make friends lol.

sch compound's new and modern. and incomplete. lol. hall's airconditioned! much better that aj's.... it has squashcourts! i've seen squash courts only twice. in my old condo and today.

hm. ny has catholic high ppl, marist,chij, and well. lots of other sch uniforms which i dont recognise. lol.sch uniform makes it easy to look for zhss ppl.. kinda messy, the colours n diff uniform.

after lunch was the boring part. talks. first university talks - NTU and NUS. nus person nt going straight to the pt n talked lots of stuff we dont care abt.. jus tell us the courses n the requiremts lah -_-.. by the end of the uni talks, boy legs were hurting! Suan. was sitting crosslegged. which i havent since the last morning assembly! gosh. it was from 1215-145. and after that, subj combi talk. 2 hrs! felt like eternity! gosh it jus dragged on and on and .......... lol. my handphone's my friend. ^_^.

the woman who talked abt science.. boy. she started from. SCHOOL VALUES! talk abt science lah, please ^^;;. after she did talk abt science, she talked abt critical thinkin, no spoonfeeding etc =S. nag. (i found out from kenneth she's david's mom! i remember she came look for mr tan, my P5 teacher. to agrue over his marks -_-. was unreasonable. mr tan was v irritated.)

actually..she caught my ear when she did talk about interactive learning.. comin armed with question in class, discussions, learning by really gettnig involved. that would be ideal n v good environment but i dont think it'll happen..

overall.. today freaking boring BUT nothing bad happened, i made friends, i laughed and i met yucui so yeah. today was good =).

tomorrow, the real orientation starts.. games n stuff.. i'll be "-_-cheer again?!"tmr haha but orientations n cheers go hand in hand lol.. gonna learn "tradition couple dance"(o_O?) tmr. haha. quite looking forward to it..interesting. AND. i end at 2.45 tmr! (i supposed to end 4.30 today but ended at 5.. so i guess add 0.5h to all timings haha)

oh yeah. another thing i'm damn glad about is: you can take any subj combi you want, disregarding your prelims. cos i did badly for bio prelims -_- b4. ususally prerepresit's b3. but den again, someone reminded me bio no prerepresit. but i'm still glad haha..i think i'll prolly take 3 a lvl subj being bio, chem and maths. dont dare go triple science lol. dont think i can handle it..

orientation pack ($20): 2 t-shirts. a ring file with fancifully written orientation grps names on it (i dont like the grey thou. boring). a wristband. $2 phonecard. Student organiser. postcards. sch badge. small towel. not bad.... plus, friday's dinner lol.

Sweet 16 indeed =) never really thought it was till i looked back the year..

it was a good year.. lots of good memories. grown much closer to friends..

early in the year was the camp craft competition n preparation (boy.. it really seem like ages ago... didnt feel like 2004 at all). will nvr forget those days (n even if i do, it'll be on blogger!)... the lying on the grass n really talking nonense! enjoying the company of friends, laughin at the lamest jokes! lol. i speak as if it was a leisure camp. sure there was hardship but hey, i remember the good things ;-). arh.. that hot hot sun, or, the muddy,squashy field,snapping twines, ringing sound of pegging, the monotonousness of it, sir being an ass at times lol. we improved =D ups and downs at the competitions.. hahaa not to forget the yummy steamboat at the end of everything! dont ever know if i'll get the chance to idly lay on the grass, chitchatting.. got really close the camp craft gals n guys =D zhenting! qiaoru! shufen! jueling! yvette! i'll never forget your.. perverseness ;D haha.. "what say you!" and oso our gd luck charm Spiderman! lol.(there was oso haunted house.. it's really amzing how we set it up. it was transformed! smashin success^_^)

netball competition. boy i loved the class spirit! we were screamin our lungs out.. extasy with each point n match won =) cheering on fellow classmates as one. 4e1. =^_^= lol. lame..

i became closer to vanda.. lol. the crazy things we used to do! and the songs we used to sing =) (and the "come what may" zhiliang sang come to think abt it lol) weiyu n qiaoru =D i love watchin them interact. just so cute!. tricia.. the person i'm most comfortable with.. can really talk rubbish lol.sharon! really nice bubbly personality.too bad i only got to know her around september! like her!

my group of friends. we dont really talk much or are v v close. but. the company was great =D didnt need to talk.. we were comfortable enought being with each other w/o much words =) used to go mingfen's place to chill out. talk. sing. chitchat. lol. vending machine n where we uesd to sit..

year of the o levels. boy i tell u this is the first time i worked so freaking hard n was so disciplaned..went to the library almost everday, ususally til 9 or 8-ish. finished the bio chem n phy TYS. i'm really proud of myself. however i feel i may have started getting serious too late(2/3 days after prelims ended)..i slacked much during the prelims=(. it would have been a very "no life" period if i didnt make friends with carol n sherley and alan =) they were the familiar face i needed during that lonely period of studying. not to forget irene and dragg and jade+other st nicks gals =D sense of belonging haha. i enjoyed my first real meal at a hawker centre with u guys ^_^ (well. the 2nd meal too haha) [sigh, however i havent bothered visiting the cafe galilee staff in the hols.. i guess i didnt need them now. it's a sad thing.. i really must one of these days =)]

i will miss zhonghua.lol.. the prefect chasing us out b4 morning assembly. boring speeches. reflection days which i always sleep through lol. avoiding of e lim n disciple mistress (gosh i forgot her name =^_^=) in case they pick on u (hair/ankle socks). going opposite for lunch. 7-11. otah. SSP =D. i like peer tuitoring most. most relaxed...male staff toilet outside our class that me/tricia/vanda always frequent haha.. my dear tumored plants outside the class! (biotech team oso means lots to me =).. the rushing of the poster, report and presenting/preparing at ngee ann on the eve of bio prelim jeez!)

the teachers:
fun lessons (in aircon-ed function rooms =P )with ms ow where she'll read out compos n sometimes give us massive lecture on life when she's piss/we deserve it. a teacher u wont mess with. really really witty and sacastic. she doesnt mind being the butt for her own joke lol..

physics lesson where mr chua'll catch me for sleepin in class (n i'll jus repeat the last sentence he said! haha.. i dunno why i can do that but i'm really asleep. i dont ever know the pervious sentence he said)

i love the lessons with huang lao shi! his many stories on his army days..thinkin of sentences/"zhao ju" his sacasim. i feel he really cares aboutus (i think he was really cute when performing on youth day(in bu4 shan1 bu4 shi4)! haha. he waves at us n we all screamed as if he was jay!)

mr yeo and his digressions^_^. the teacher with a real passion. he got quite pissed with us a few times.. feel kinda bad. really loves his wife n kid.haha he's quite bias thou. nice guy he is. and his singing =)

mr won. dont like him but he's actually ok lah with his 3M tales n tips. dont know if i dont like him cos i dont like chemistry or if it's the other way round lol.

ms tan!! i like her. she's so cute! "press your calculater, too-to-to-to~! what is the answer?" "you-hoo~" hee. she's kinda absent minded n maths doesnt seem that powerful.. always bullied by our class guys ^^; poor ms tan. i alway kinda lied to her cos i didnt do hmwk! she called me sleeping beauty once -_- when she caught me sleepin lol. vanda told me she called me many time! (vanda had to nudge me to wake me up lol).

ms chan and her nagging lol.. kinda a waste of time. but hey our dear form teacher =D. and who can forget her hot number on youth day.. tata young -sexy bitchy naughty me! boy can she move lol. n she got dunked at fun fair! she's nice when she isnt grouchy. haha doesnt catch me for long nails!

suddenly thought of lower sec stuff =)music lesson with e6 was freaking fun with likkhian n zhiliang fooling around in the back row. home econs n DnT =D leisure lessons i called them.. cooking was interesting cos i dont help out in the kitchen (except when mom's baking cakes). DnT was totally something i never did b4. making something always gives me a sense of pride =) lol. always remember the woody smell of the workroom. and art. love-hate relationship. liked the lessons n the projects (=D the giant kettle n working toaster we made was smashin!) but boy i hated the exams. twice a year, i would stay up the whole night (no sleep at all!) to complete prep-work (given 2 weeks but i started only on the eve ^^;) and sigh, the singing of jay's song during free periods! so carefree!

there was prom- first time i put on makeup n dressup n contacts. bintan- first time i went on holiday with friends. graduation day- first time i cried in front of classmates. o lvl preparetion- first time i studied so so hard. jay concert- first time i screamed myself silly for Jay!(lol.. i used to think those gals screaming after boybands were silly). christmas- first time i got a gift from a guy =) thank you. and many very wordy, gorgeous cards frm friends, thanks!









love 4e1. thou we arent quite like e7, with all their multiple class outing (envious lol) nor are we that united, i just love it =D nice class it is..

2005
resolutions.
1. keep my friends =) make a effort.. my friends are too dear to lose due to drifting apart.

2. do all my tutorials. that was what mr yap, my maths tuition teacher who really motivated me, advised. cos they wont check on you. and me being me will jus let it accumilate and fall behind in school. cant let that happen. gonna use the determination that i mustered to study at the library daily to do them. yes. i must.

3. dont judge/sterotype ppl/dont put myself down/be more open. in 2004, i was silly. i picked out the smart smart ppl in class n made myself believed they didnt want to talk to us averagers so i didnt bother talking to them n limited my social circle -_-. they didnt think that way; i put them on a pedestral myself. i read somewhere u decide how ppl treat u. i knew it was true then, now i firmly believe it lol. yes. this year i will not feel small. i will be confident. i am as good as anyone else! better in some ways, worse in others but it all evens out, even if it doesnt seem as such. dont be intimidated by goodlooking ppl and smart ppl ^^;

4. be neater, handwriting wise. lol. anyone who've seen my handwriting would agree i should. i dont really mind it actually =) haha makes me special i feel =P in midst of the the very neat girls(the only not neat girls i know:daphne, maybelle[to a smaller extent]){lol. u know why my handwriting's so bad? i nvr took an effort. always rushed to finish hmwk asap(or not do it at all ^^;;) so i could PLAY in pri sch haha.} i dont mind but examiners n teachers do mind.. it's possible. maybelle's handwriting really improved in less than a year!! i couldnt even recognise it lol. and i could read it!

i think that's it. i'm quite satisified with how i am =) any areas my friends think i really really really need to work on, tell me i'll consider if i will ^_^

today i cleared my table. boy. 6 plastic bags to be thrown away. may post photos up if i'm free haha..

i would love going back to when we only had to worry about class test.. when we were free enought to slack in class after dismissal. those were nice times =). but. i had my time, i've already had my chance n went thought that phrase in life. i'm satisfied =) and i'm quite ready to enter jc.

not really 100% enthu thou, who wld be.. new year, new school, new friends, new style of schooling. can be quite intimadating. gonna look at orientation as 1 week extension of sch hols. haha if we had to start studyin on 3rd Jan my body prolly wldnt be able to take it lol. it'll be fun, thou lame. lol. what has to be done, has to be done lah. wonder what the student leaders have came up with.. wonder kinda of ppl i'll meet. so much possiblities =) hopefully i may find a good friend! in a class surely u'll make friends like.. frm sec1-2/sec3-4 new class but still made good friends. jc is not unlike the above mention so hopefully those concerned about jc n making friend dont worry too much k? cos u've been thru it b4, u'll go thru jc n make good friends again!
