lord of the rings marathon (30-31dec)
lol. at first only yucui and zhenting. a short while into the fellowship, got a sms hat yvette was coming. lol! for her, 3 of us went to the bustop(in case one's overwhelmed by her smelliness, the others can complete the journey=p). each under a giant umbrella. n i do mean it. each can comfortably cover 4? hahaha.. four of us walked back in a line (umbrellas to big to walk in a row ;) )

moved the central table in the living room n put 2 mattresses on the floor.. had lots of pillows n 2 opened out sleeping bags (blankets)comfy! watched till around 6 (two towers) when zhenting n yvette had to leave..

lol.. i was v tired by the two towers.. fell asleep during the last part of return of the king! too tired, cldnt take it lol..

class outing (27 dec)
i was waiting at the bustop frm 11.50- 12.25 for zl co she supposed to bring the mahjong set. in one of the 265, there was this guy in a maroon shirt sleeping! lol. sure hoped it wasnt zl. anyway, i went home to get my hp (for got to get bring it; was thinkn of getting it when zl dropped the mahjong set at my place lol) n on the screen was "6 missed calls" lol. surely had something to do with zl lol. later i found out the taxi driver sent him to the wrong place ^^;;

supposed to meet at 12. reached at 12.20 v worried n guilty at the thought of the whole class waiting for me the late one. LOL. as if.. when i reached, i was the only gal!. later, vanda,qiaoru,zhiqi and daphne came. lol.. some came much later..

headed to sentosa, palawan beach. we walked all the way there! long long way! lol. could have taken the monorail ^^;

there, we proceed to buring kelvin (alive) under a coconut tree:



went swimming in the sea n got totally wet lol..
(okok..nobody in the sea but hey, shows off where we were lol)it wasnt as fun as the last time i went into the sea cos there werent any waves at all! sand didnt seem as fine too

Need to give Zhiliang credit =) w/o him the bbq wld hv been nonexistant. he bought all the food , deboned the chicken, marinated all by himself. in a day. yes. and no complains at all! so yeah. thanks zl ^_^

when i got home, fire was already started! lol. food was good =) what a shindig(a lrge noisy enjoyable party) it was haha. acutally i was quite afraid everybody'll find there's nothing to do at my place (cos tt was what happened the last time i bought ppl home lol) but lucky that wasnt the case. there was a queue for the pingpong table. electone/organ kept vanda/likkhian busy lol. sophie. shrek. and 9pm channel8 drama lol.

me, vanda, sharon, mingfen, huiling, kelvin, lymon, winnie n ash went to the playgroud =D it's been ages since i last went! swung real high(on the swings) played on the see-saw.. jus letting loose haha..swings r fun lol. later this uncle with really bad smoker cough came. he was coughing after every few words! n he was still smoking a ciggy den -_- hai, smokers. but he redemmed himself with the two v cute dogs he had! jacky n choc. jay's(lol! i jus realised the typo. jacky i mean) a g. retriver while choc a terrier. jacky was much more popular lol poor choc, he was so jealous. they werent on leases, jus running loose (like us!) in the park, chasing each other. jacky was really really friendly. n so big!!! relative to spohie lol. it's paw was so heavy! lol. we were giving it so much attention it didnt wanna go home even after smoker+choc let. he had to return with a leash lol.

Sophie (24 dec)
we went to collect Wewe (chinchilla) frm where he was boarding. kinda like a pet shop where dogs were sold. somehow we ended up looking at the puppies.. still dont know y mom allowed us to get a dog, after all these years lol. anyway. we didnt want a big dog. we didnt want a dog tt required grooming = english cocker spaniel. there was this one puppy that was sitting up n kept staring at us. the rest were really active! we werent allowed to touch it cos they wanted to prevent spread of viruses n stuff.so he was on the floor, in a pen. later he put another puppy in. much more active,was bullying sophie -_-. choose sophie cos didnt want an active puupy. and we already set our eyes on her anyway =D

she WAS the most docile n sweetest puppy. she fell asleep on my lap. she would wake up, change position n sleep again.. awww..... as the days pass.. we learn she is a very frisky active puppy that like to playfully bite ppl (irritating k!) lol.. yeah. bathed her today =) at least she's toilet trained! mus really send her for obedience class next time..

korea (17/18-22/23 dec)
left on 17dec night. RAFFLES CLASS seats when we paid for ECONOMY ones! =D haha. mom's the best. cos she had inside news that the raffles class seats were empty n with a friend's help, got them. damn, it's comfy. 1.5 times bigger den economy seats. u can actually stretch out your legs n not touch the seat infront. the seat v adjustable! lol. like a massage chair. anyway. the best part of the whole night: Stars. gosh. jus looked out n the scene took my breath away. i looked out straigh ahead n there were uncountable stars! like, jus straight ahead! dont think one cld see stars like that unless on a plane.. i watched Love Actually again.watching it for the 2nd time, i think it's really a good movie with cute stories =D..

18th:
arrived on the 18th. went for this spa thingy. we lay in this "sand" filled "swimming pool". it's black volcanic stuff.. around 3 beads can fit a 20cents coin? they buried us in it. it was heated.. the sand was really heavy. n it got really hot!

next we headed to this swimming pool place. it's water frm a mineral spring. guys n gals seperated. why? cos. everybody's butt-naked! wahaha. old. young. never seen so many naked bods in one place! haha.. n so many different varieites.. of.. erm. yeah. haha. we werent naked thou. we went upstairs to this outdoor jacuzzi thingy. however, had to change in the locker rooms. personally i wasnt really embarass or shy cos. it's normal there. nobody's gonna care about you. everywhere oso naked ppl what. u where even more ppl stare haha.. bet they thinking "who these foriengers think they are? their body v special n sarced meh? what do they have that we dont? -_- " haha. anyway. the outdoor jacuzzi was nice! when we felt too warm, we sat outside for a while. mind you, it's winter! haha. when u sit out, it looks like u're steaming! honestly, "smoke"'s coming outta u! Jackjack! lol

next we headed to mt. daedunsan. took cable up till quite high and climbed the rest. well. the climbing was actually - stairs. lol. yeah. u know what was surprising?! alot of old folks were climbing! really fit. didnt go much that day anymore

19:
we headed to Everland! it's a theme park. it was so so christmasy! the very image of christmas. the carols. the v decorated lil carts. went on some rides. saw some animals eg polar bear, white tiger, etc. and. mating penguins! haha.

one more memorable theme ride was "safari land". boy the queue is unbelieveable! like.. prolly have to wait 3/4 hrs?! luckily our tour guide somehow managed to get us in w/o queuing! mode of transport: excursion buses. they come real close. they roam free. first time seeing animals so upclose. there was a liger- a lion crossed with a tiger so u get a lioness with faint tiger strips. here was oso one with leapard print. (i read up online n learnt the cubs have to live together from young before they'll mate. and the mothers get upset/stress/bewildered over their cub's behavier. eg lions dont like water, niether do they climb tree but these cross-species cubs do). the bears were trained. some clapped. some stands up. some did hi-5 with the driver! one bear did "ah-me-tou-fo" (put paws together n "pray"). cool.

when on 2 rollar coaster rides. AH. so thrilling! zoomin at breakneck speed! =D woohoo. had to quite about 40mins? on the way out, we met a celebrity. didnt know who he is buy he was prolly a presenter of sorts. anyone know him?

haha. my bro had this hat thingy one n when he removed it, his hair was kinda styled lol!

after that, we headed to pheonix park. a ski park where autumn in my heart/endless love was filmed (well. some parts).it was quite late when we arrived. went down to take a look. first time seeing snow.. wasnt exactly thrilled thou cos firstly it was falling(all on the ground already). 2ndly, it was artifical lol. still be were pretty excted! haha.. we scraping ice n compacting them into snowballs to whack each other with. oh yeah. in pheonix park (or as our guide pronounced it "fi-nix-xi pa-ku") where arent beds. sleep on then mattress on the floor.. floor's heated btw.

20th:
went to see taixi's apartment. it was quite a surreal experience for me cos i did watch the series. it's actually for rent..u pay a bomb thou =) yes, his boat is suspended in the hall. i always thought his apartment looked spendid. boy it was.

next we took gondola (they call cable cars gondola in korea. dont know y) t the top of the mountain. no, it wasnt jus a tiny tip lol it was quite a big area!yeah.. abit smaller den our parade sq. did slieghing.. tiny slope. it was a warmup for what we wld be doing later haha. boy mom's heavy! i offered to pull her around (and regretted) lol.. fun thou. was throwing snow at each other (somehow cldnt compact it into a snowball) there was aroun 3/4/5 steps covered with snow, makin it a tiny slope but heck, it was enought =D at first we jus sat on the sliegh but after a while, we lay on it =D haha a kid stood on it! kinda like snowboarding

i cant wait to see the extended return of the king! 50mins of unseen scenes! almost an hr lol.

in the morning, watching Meet the Fockers with usual friends. i'm surprised it's NC16! haha wonder y it is so.

i wan to watch phantom of the opera.. i'll catch it with mom =D

btw. national treasure is fanatasic, if u like exciting movies with a dash of humor thrown in. great movie! so if u havent watch it, quickly do so b4 the movie ends its run in the cinemas =)

edit: i dreamt of my great-grandma["ah tai" i what i call her =)] yesterday.. totally unexpected cos she died like 2/3/4 yrs ago and i wasnt thinking of her b4 i slept or recently for that matter. i introduced her to someone.. n she approved of him lol. i'm pondering the significence of my dream.. it's quite freaky, now that i think of it; a visit from greatgrandma...Lol,at first i didnt realise she cldnt understand cos i was speakin in english. she kept smiling. like how she always did..i like her alot; she's cute how elderly folk are [digress: i like eldery folks =) haha cos i love my grand ma lots lol]. anyway, i was tellin her abt him (in canto now lol) w/o realisin he was there (he was squatting near a pillar so sumthing, sly guy)lol.. i was like "you're not supposed to be here ^_^;; ". hee. woke up n realised both my greatgrandmas are dead. i nearly forgot the singapore greatgrandma dead this yr. during physic prelim i think... Anyway.. it was nice seeing the melacca greatgrandma again =)

found out i just scraped through into NY with 12 being the cut off pt..2.44am now.. and i havent bathed. dead. lol

i'm tired. v tired. gonna be 3am soon. sleeping at 12 for 3nights, followed by 4am followed by 3am and god know what time i'll sleep tonight is taking it's toil lol

sometimes i dont want to blog. cos when u blog, there's nothing to talk abt with friends. i start on something n they go "oh yeah.. read tt on ur blog" -_- sometimes it saves me from repeating same stuff over again to diff ppl thou. i do know i want to remember stuff so i blog. but. many experiences(JAY concert,prom, bintan) i hvnt blog yet n the impression is getting fainter n fainter with each passing day. want to blog about korea. and sophie. and. at least blogs can be used to keep in contact. n get a deeper understanding of me? i plan to invite friend interested for a movie marathon. yucui definiately (my LotR pal! went with me for the FotR and TTT repeat thingy b4 RotK and the LotR exhibition at sci center!) and npcc gal pals. gonna move the coffee table away n put mattresses where it is. gonna be pretty cosy with blankets n dim surroundings n stuff lol. everybody bring your own snacks n drinks n we share! depending on how many can stay overnight, it's gonna either start in the morning n end at night or at at around noon n watch thruout the night =D. i'm pretty excited. gotta find a date thou..

went to sch today. to clear the locker. nostalgia. how i wish when sch reopens, we're all going back to zhss..i sat at the amphitheather for a short while. we used to sit there while sirs briefed us.. when walking past the canteen, caught glimpse of the green green field and thought of campcraft. the crazy days. when we were the only ones in sch, pitching like man sometimes it seems endlessly in the freaking hot sun (thou some other days we slack loads too. man. when we slack, we really have fun =D haha)den i went to the piano.. where me n my pals used to hang out during recess.. played for a while haha (i hv limited repitore[song i know how to play] anyway haha).. nobody around to chase me out or stuff. walked thru zhss's gate prolly the last time till march that is.

mia's gone back to indonesia for a holiday. helped do the laudry. haha. first time in a long long long long time doing any chores. helped collect trash (no, my hse is nt tt filthy until we have to pick up trash. i mean frm the diff bins) but mostly,operated the washer n hung up the laudry. really mus learn all these "life skills" man ^^;; next time got family dunno how to do anything. HAHA. no lah... i'm thinking if i study overseas surely die cos i dont how to look after myself, housekeeping aspect..so mus learn so tings that i really need to learn? learnt some stuff. must hook up the bra before throwing into the wash so it wont hook other stuff. jeans mus wash inside out, zipped up and buttoned for the same reason. when hanging up trousers, un-crinkle it so later when ironing not so jiat-lat.

my mom can make these small cute chocalate cupcake yummy dessert thingys in ten mins.(ask yucui, she tried them ;) ) today she saw papa beard selling those for $2.20 each! taste the small loh! it's really simple to make. just mix the stuff n into the oven. they mus make a ridiculas profits lol.

i dont know how to keep in contact. i mean it and am quite frustrated.. even now, on msn i hv nothing much to say to friends i do like much.. next time when i get new friends, i'll prolly talk to them cos of the related-ness(new same sch, teachers, sch work + new friends seem more interesting cos there's so much u dont know yet) =S. what about my friends now? i dont want to lose them, i really love them lots n they're ppl i so so glad to have met. drifting apart seems inevitable. what am i to do? call often? i dont even talk to anybody on the phone now. write often? i dunno...sch load's gonna be heavy. how? things wont be the same liao with less physical contact(as in.. face-to-face meeting lah!)(no, not kissing either lol), friendship harder to maintain. mayb monthly letters lah. can take ur own time to reply right? better den no contact at all lol. christmas time. send cards. at least dont give them a chance to forget me ;) =P and a "hallo how's life. this is wad's going on my life now" letter? hm. brainstorming. lol.yucui mingfen sinyee nianya vanda tricia zhenting sharon are ppl closer to my heart(cos of how we connect/experiences shared/cos i just like u lah haha)(others, u are oso valued =) ) tt i really dont want to lose.

i like it when i suddenly remember little things of the past. yesterday, i was at a gift shop looking at those plastic cards with messages on them and suddenly remembered, when i was in kindergarden, i used to get garfield ones if i got fullmarks for spelling! lol. that small fact long forgotten by me n my parents suddenly came to me n it pleased me lots haha. (oh yeah. garfield the movie vcd is out. $12.90) today, i remember "crash dummies"(a toy thingy) you guys rmb? my younger sis forgot liao. it's like u these dummies in the toy car. if u dont put seat belt for them n crash the car against the wall, the airball'll push the dummies n their head n limbs detach!haha.. had so much fun with those (abeit kinda sick when typed out lol)

i'm reading "tuesdays with morrie"(non fiction) by mitch albom (author of 5 ppl u meet in heaven). it's good. about this sick dying old professor who's attitude n outlook on life is damn good. he talks to the author (who's a workerholic n doesnt know the impt things in life) on tuesday. v meaningful. generally, do have a rough sketch of those ideas [imp things in life: stuff that're imp when u find u hv onli like say 2 yrs to life. the essential. when u strip away all the clutter n materialistic ideals n stuff. all's left is family friend n love. experience over materialistic stuff is oso something i believe in. eg. holiday/concerts/music/movies <-- experiences(intangible but greater impact). cars/tv/houses <--possesions(tangible but not fulfilling)] before reading this book n it elaborates, solidifies them, making them more concrete. i really dont want to live for my job, run the rat race n miss out on life. i believe money really cant buy happiness thou media/society tries tell us otherwise. what's the point of being damn successful n return to an empty home feeling so lonely n empty =S. i dont mind hv-ing a mediocer life as long as i'm happy. just..feeling so satisfied with life i dont need anything more. yeah.

that day's really short when you wake up at 2+pm is was running thru my mind today when i glanced at the compy's clock n realised it was 6pm. but it's 2+am now so perhaps it's all even lol. time's all warped.

sleeping for a long time is good. means time spent dreaming is longer too. dreaming is exciting and interesting.. crazy out of the world things. even after i wake up, it's still cool to link and figure out where i dreamt that and stuff

today was a very slack day. woke up. read my storybook(which is actually quite boring.. reading for the sake of finishing it.. dont think i'm gonna read the next book in the trilogy) den went for lunch. read the papers. slept. read papers again. my turn at the compy at last (i was nice for a change not domineerin the computer ^^;;) continued yesterday's blogging. had a nice... long.... shower. felt damn good after that haha.. "me" time.

time flies. i just realised earlier the evening =( no. it wont be back to zhss. no more walking all the way to the end to the block, pass all the class, worrying about all the undone homework (usually tt'll be all except ms ow's cos she'll skin me). not familiar faces. not the usual sch compound. totally new sch. and ppl. i dont even know who and where now... just gotta wait till 17th and see where friends are going thou i dont think many 4e1-ers are going where i am. most are like vjc/tjc/njc... while i'm ajc(hopefully but unlikely)/nyjc(likely i think. wont mind). haha. anyway. i alway think it doesnt matter which jc i go to. what matters is myself. and friends... can be made. every place will hv it's share of good and bad ppl (or rather ppl who click or dont-click wiht me). must be more open like lymon said.. would have more friend in 4e1 if i had.

watched sg idol again. i still think sly's "i dream" is better. sly's voice more interesting, more texture. taufik's was boring and kinda flat-_-. sly's more rousing =D prefer sly's "i dream" but am glad tuafik's the sg idol cos his vocals is better la. i think tauffy has to do song where he can play vocal gymnastic n show off eh "me n mrs jones" that kinda song. just hopes he doesnt just do hiphop-_- hate hiphop.

watched runaway bride for the..4th time? (1st was on a flight to beijing in p5, next was with mom somewhere, another was on tv and today on tv cos there was nothing better to do) watched the last half. i think i kinda identify with maggie(julia robert's character). i havent exactly found myself yet but i'm still young so there's still be but i have to keep in mind, searching for myself, what kinda person i want to be, what i want in life.

too little time. stuff i definately mus do is clear my table and do the Lord of the Rings marathon and the christmas thingy with friends.

it's 4.20am. guess i'm gonna wake up at.... hm. 3/4 tmr? in view i slept at 1/2+am yest haha. oh yeah. no. i'm waking up at 10 to watch TEEN TITANS! lol. 10.30am on kids central, every sunday. go watch it. =D

i had a dream. i was in school,it was a normal sch day and we were having morning assembly. right after we sang the national atheme, miss chan stuffed slips of paper everyobdy's hand. i tore away the dotted-lin edge thingys and guess what. it was o lvl results! i got an 8. i cldnt believe it lol(me? 8? nah.. no way.. but there it says on the slip: 8!)(lol). i was thinking how different from what i imagined about collecting results. i w sure i would be super flustered n kinda nervous but we didnt even know getting results today. den. i woke up. with a bad sore throat bleh. i was ">_< $(&%@# ahh..."

anyway.. chalets! i feel e1 chalet was better than the e6, though less people turned up. must be getting old, dont remember much of them.. perhaps it's cos chalet's a lazy slacky days. BBQ on tuesday was a success with lots of nice food =) [lol, e1's chalet seem to hv alot of food! (instant noodles, biscuits, junk food, soft drinks etc)]

on the 2nd last day, we went wild wild wet! woohoo, seven hours of sun and water =D honestly, there're like.. only 4 rides! much less than fantasy island. ular-lah n slide up are the better ones =D slideup's v thrillin! most of the time was sent in the lazy/shiok river and wave pool..most of the fun of the day was just hanging out n fooling around with friends .. (sidenote: shiok river's floor's darn rough! got abrasions on my foot.. ouch.)

then..in between after bathin n dinner, something very unexpected happen which have let me thinking about it these few days.. dun really know what to make out of it..what's expected. and if what i said was taken the wrong way cos that would be the to opposite of what i feel lol.. didnt know what to say. it was so sudden. i'm gonna think n get stuff straight before talking so i wont say all the wrong things again lol

then 19 of us went for dinner at swensens! there was abit of disagreement =( but anyway, it turned out ok =) had to wait ages for our tabes lol.. nop, we didnt sit around a giant round table lah.. 9 small rectangular tables meant to seat 2 were joined together to form a long long table. first time eating with the class.haha ok half the class.. it was nice thou i didnt contribute much,just sitting there n listen to friends of 2/4yrs talking, soakin in the atmosphere.

next up: night cycling! started at 12+ and returned at 3am. cycled round pasar ris park and then to tampines.. got abit lost but still found tampines with the help of v helpful taxi driver! zhiliang went to ask for directions n the uncle went the extra mile n led us there! we took expressway O_O. lol. illegal. but there was a pavement so we were quite safe.. my cycling skills suck ^^;; i was afraid i would collide and cause others to fall. i was behind most of the time lol. mus thank zhiliang patrick n douglous who were right at the back(not all 3.. they take turns?) to make sure i dont get lost or something lol. i've a lil phobia of cycling now ^^;; actually i think it;s just confidence lah.. it fell when i fell.

the guys were supposed to go cycling again (we came back at 3am for a break n those who;re tired can quit) but they lay down to "rest" but *bish* all fell asleep. lol! the guys n gals all slept together.. the bed was packed with ppl! it was freaking cold. i woke up cos it was cold i think. was rubbing my feet to generate warmt(fruitless). went to grab my towel but it was damp -_-. went back to bed but cldnt take the cold so to the living room to find something warm. only found a thin sheet -_- better den nothing.. when i toss it over the bed, douglous automatically hundled up under it o_O;; lol.. mus hv been cold too.

i find the guys have matured.. previous chalets during bbq, they're very likely to cook just for themselves. now they cook for everybody. n having one guy at the back of the cycling gang. and when vanda had to go to the toliet which was qquite a distance away n one had to pass through a very dark area, they accompanied her.

woke up later den went met sinyee n yucui at yishun to celebrate sinyee's bday. i was half an hour early.. cos the original plan was to go home first but didnt lah. sigh. i wish i stayed that last half an hour for eric's s 4e1 song and say proper goodbyes...

[btw... after e6 chalet.. i dunno y but i was quite emotional. i didnt know it was coming and strangely,it was that stupid aunty who cleared away my honeydew sago before i even tasted it that sparked it off. it was snatched away. just like how we have almost no control over that moving on to jcs. it was like the last "official" day the 5 of us were together and i was thinking of what mfen said the pervious night. and readin what vanda wrote in the frog book. and wandering in downtown east alone(after lying to my friends my parents were coming cos i wanted to be alone) tearing quite badly lol]

anyway. was feeling quite sickish that day we went to celebrate her bday.. was unnaturally cold in normal-(shopping centres)-conditions-that-i'm-comfy-with.. kept getting goosebumps. hands were cold. and those sharp kinda pangs of headache ^^; + scraped feet + sore butt (from cycling) n tiredness generally lol

watched christmas with the kranks. dont like it. too many boring parts. joke are.. *rolls eyes*. yeah. they should edit more of the front part away den it'll be better =)

next to starbucks to chitchat thou not heart-to-heart =(.. photos n video taking! nxt pit stop- nianya's place for playstation n nail polish stuff which i didnt take part cos i got a feeling it'll be stinky lol.. just chilling out with my friends is enuff for me... dont need to be doing anything lol.

later, i took 269 frm ang mo kio interchange. fell asleep on the bus. woke up and as like "darn. hope i hvnt missed my stop! oh. i recognise that place gonna reach soon" den i slept again. and woke and saw familiarlandmarks after some HBD which all look the same. kept eyes peeled cos it seemed like i slept for ages. and soon. i was back at ang mo kio interchange!!!! arg. loop service. oh well. =) better to land up at ang mo kio den like.. woodlands or some ulu deserted place lol..

bleh. i had so much thoughts today.. about what i want in life and other more random things.. but i forgot.. cos they werent quite coherent.. just. here and there. oh well. other stuff: prom, jay concert, bintan. really overdue. but i dont ever want to forget those. these all may seem freaking long winded and meaningless but i dont wanna forget these stuff.. i want to read these years later and remember this chalet did take place and stuff..

lord of the rings marathon (30-31dec)
lol. at first only yucui and zhenting. a short while into the fellowship, got a sms hat yvette was coming. lol! for her, 3 of us went to the bustop(in case one's overwhelmed by her smelliness, the others can complete the journey=p). each under a giant umbrella. n i do mean it. each can comfortably cover 4? hahaha.. four of us walked back in a line (umbrellas to big to walk in a row ;) )

moved the central table in the living room n put 2 mattresses on the floor.. had lots of pillows n 2 opened out sleeping bags (blankets)comfy! watched till around 6 (two towers) when zhenting n yvette had to leave..

lol.. i was v tired by the two towers.. fell asleep during the last part of return of the king! too tired, cldnt take it lol..

class outing (27 dec)
i was waiting at the bustop frm 11.50- 12.25 for zl co she supposed to bring the mahjong set. in one of the 265, there was this guy in a maroon shirt sleeping! lol. sure hoped it wasnt zl. anyway, i went home to get my hp (for got to get bring it; was thinkn of getting it when zl dropped the mahjong set at my place lol) n on the screen was "6 missed calls" lol. surely had something to do with zl lol. later i found out the taxi driver sent him to the wrong place ^^;;

supposed to meet at 12. reached at 12.20 v worried n guilty at the thought of the whole class waiting for me the late one. LOL. as if.. when i reached, i was the only gal!. later, vanda,qiaoru,zhiqi and daphne came. lol.. some came much later..

headed to sentosa, palawan beach. we walked all the way there! long long way! lol. could have taken the monorail ^^;

when i got home, fire was already started! lol. food was good =) what a shindig(a lrge noisy enjoyable party) it was haha. acutally i was quite afraid everybody'll find there's nothing to do at my place (cos tt was what happened the last time i bought ppl home lol) but lucky that wasnt the case. there was a queue for the pingpong table. electone/organ kept vanda/likkhian busy lol. sophie. shrek. and 9pm channel8 drama lol.

me, vanda, sharon, mingfen, huiling, kelvin, lymon, winnie n ash went to the playgroud =D it's been ages since i last went! swung real high(on the swings) played on the see-saw.. jus letting loose haha..swings r fun lol. later this uncle with really bad smoker cough came. he was coughing after every few words! n he was still smoking a ciggy den -_- hai, smokers. but he redemmed himself with the two v cute dogs he had! jacky n choc. jay's(lol! i jus realised the typo. jacky i mean) a g. retriver while choc a terrier. jacky was much more popular lol poor choc, he was so jealous. they werent on leases, jus running loose (like us!) in the park, chasing each other. jacky was really really friendly. n so big!!! relative to spohie lol. it's paw was so heavy! lol. we were giving it so much attention it didnt wanna go home even after smoker+choc let. he had to return with a leash lol.

Sophie (24 dec)
we went to collect Wewe (chinchilla) frm where he was boarding. kinda like a pet shop where dogs were sold. somehow we ended up looking at the puppies.. still dont know y mom allowed us to get a dog, after all these years lol. anyway. we didnt want a big dog. we didnt want a dog tt required grooming = english cocker spaniel. there was this one puppy that was sitting up n kept staring at us. the rest were really active! we werent allowed to touch it cos they wanted to prevent spread of viruses n stuff.so he was on the floor, in a pen. later he put another puppy in. much more active,was bullying sophie -_-. choose sophie cos didnt want an active puupy. and we already set our eyes on her anyway =D

she WAS the most docile n sweetest puppy. she fell asleep on my lap. she would wake up, change position n sleep again.. awww..... as the days pass.. we learn she is a very frisky active puppy that like to playfully bite ppl (irritating k!) lol.. yeah. bathed her today =) at least she's toilet trained! mus really send her for obedience class next time..

korea (17/18-22/23 dec)
left on 17dec night. RAFFLES CLASS seats when we paid for ECONOMY ones! =D haha. mom's the best. cos she had inside news that the raffles class seats were empty n with a friend's help, got them. damn, it's comfy. 1.5 times bigger den economy seats. u can actually stretch out your legs n not touch the seat infront. the seat v adjustable! lol. like a massage chair. anyway. the best part of the whole night: Stars. gosh. jus looked out n the scene took my breath away. i looked out straigh ahead n there were uncountable stars! like, jus straight ahead! dont think one cld see stars like that unless on a plane.. i watched Love Actually again.watching it for the 2nd time, i think it's really a good movie with cute stories =D..

18th:
arrived on the 18th. went for this spa thingy. we lay in this "sand" filled "swimming pool". it's black volcanic stuff.. around 3 beads can fit a 20cents coin? they buried us in it. it was heated.. the sand was really heavy. n it got really hot!

next we headed to this swimming pool place. it's water frm a mineral spring. guys n gals seperated. why? cos. everybody's butt-naked! wahaha. old. young. never seen so many naked bods in one place! haha.. n so many different varieites.. of.. erm. yeah. haha. we werent naked thou. we went upstairs to this outdoor jacuzzi thingy. however, had to change in the locker rooms. personally i wasnt really embarass or shy cos. it's normal there. nobody's gonna care about you. everywhere oso naked ppl what. u where even more ppl stare haha.. bet they thinking "who these foriengers think they are? their body v special n sarced meh? what do they have that we dont? -_- " haha. anyway. the outdoor jacuzzi was nice! when we felt too warm, we sat outside for a while. mind you, it's winter! haha. when u sit out, it looks like u're steaming! honestly, "smoke"'s coming outta u! Jackjack! lol

next we headed to mt. daedunsan. took cable up till quite high and climbed the rest. well. the climbing was actually - stairs. lol. yeah. u know what was surprising?! alot of old folks were climbing! really fit. didnt go much that day anymore

19:
we headed to Everland! it's a theme park. it was so so christmasy! the very image of christmas. the carols. the v decorated lil carts. went on some rides. saw some animals eg polar bear, white tiger, etc. and. mating penguins! haha.

one more memorable theme ride was "safari land". boy the queue is unbelieveable! like.. prolly have to wait 3/4 hrs?! luckily our tour guide somehow managed to get us in w/o queuing! mode of transport: excursion buses. they come real close. they roam free. first time seeing animals so upclose. there was a liger- a lion crossed with a tiger so u get a lioness with faint tiger strips. here was oso one with leapard print. (i read up online n learnt the cubs have to live together from young before they'll mate. and the mothers get upset/stress/bewildered over their cub's behavier. eg lions dont like water, niether do they climb tree but these cross-species cubs do). the bears were trained. some clapped. some stands up. some did hi-5 with the driver! one bear did "ah-me-tou-fo" (put paws together n "pray"). cool.

when on 2 rollar coaster rides. AH. so thrilling! zoomin at breakneck speed! =D woohoo. had to quite about 40mins? on the way out, we met a celebrity. didnt know who he is buy he was prolly a presenter of sorts. anyone know him?

haha. my bro had this hat thingy one n when he removed it, his hair was kinda styled lol!

after that, we headed to pheonix park. a ski park where autumn in my heart/endless love was filmed (well. some parts).it was quite late when we arrived. went down to take a look. first time seeing snow.. wasnt exactly thrilled thou cos firstly it was falling(all on the ground already). 2ndly, it was artifical lol. still be were pretty excted! haha.. we scraping ice n compacting them into snowballs to whack each other with. oh yeah. in pheonix park (or as our guide pronounced it "fi-nix-xi pa-ku") where arent beds. sleep on then mattress on the floor.. floor's heated btw.

20th:
went to see taixi's apartment. it was quite a surreal experience for me cos i did watch the series. it's actually for rent..u pay a bomb thou =) yes, his boat is suspended in the hall. i always thought his apartment looked spendid. boy it was.

next we took gondola (they call cable cars gondola in korea. dont know y) t the top of the mountain. no, it wasnt jus a tiny tip lol it was quite a big area!yeah.. abit smaller den our parade sq. did slieghing.. tiny slope. it was a warmup for what we wld be doing later haha. boy mom's heavy! i offered to pull her around (and regretted) lol.. fun thou. was throwing snow at each other (somehow cldnt compact it into a snowball) there was aroun 3/4/5 steps covered with snow, makin it a tiny slope but heck, it was enought =D at first we jus sat on the sliegh but after a while, we lay on it =D haha a kid stood on it! kinda like snowboarding

btw. national treasure is fanatasic, if u like exciting movies with a dash of humor thrown in. great movie! so if u havent watch it, quickly do so b4 the movie ends its run in the cinemas =)

edit: i dreamt of my great-grandma["ah tai" i what i call her =)] yesterday.. totally unexpected cos she died like 2/3/4 yrs ago and i wasnt thinking of her b4 i slept or recently for that matter. i introduced her to someone.. n she approved of him lol. i'm pondering the significence of my dream.. it's quite freaky, now that i think of it; a visit from greatgrandma...Lol,at first i didnt realise she cldnt understand cos i was speakin in english. she kept smiling. like how she always did..i like her alot; she's cute how elderly folk are [digress: i like eldery folks =) haha cos i love my grand ma lots lol]. anyway, i was tellin her abt him (in canto now lol) w/o realisin he was there (he was squatting near a pillar so sumthing, sly guy)lol.. i was like "you're not supposed to be here ^_^;; ". hee. woke up n realised both my greatgrandmas are dead. i nearly forgot the singapore greatgrandma dead this yr. during physic prelim i think... Anyway.. it was nice seeing the melacca greatgrandma again =)

found out i just scraped through into NY with 12 being the cut off pt..2.44am now.. and i havent bathed. dead. lol

i'm tired. v tired. gonna be 3am soon. sleeping at 12 for 3nights, followed by 4am followed by 3am and god know what time i'll sleep tonight is taking it's toil lol

sometimes i dont want to blog. cos when u blog, there's nothing to talk abt with friends. i start on something n they go "oh yeah.. read tt on ur blog" -_- sometimes it saves me from repeating same stuff over again to diff ppl thou. i do know i want to remember stuff so i blog. but. many experiences(JAY concert,prom, bintan) i hvnt blog yet n the impression is getting fainter n fainter with each passing day. want to blog about korea. and sophie. and. at least blogs can be used to keep in contact. n get a deeper understanding of me? (lol. realise thou, blogs are by the bloggers themselves so the image created is controlled..) of cos we all would rather friends learn abt us directly,with facial epression,tone(sometimes blogs are intrepreted by readers completely differnt from what the blogger feels) in contrast to staring at the screen, reading abt us. heck knowing abt friends' life rather den lose total contact good enuff.

sophie is the cutest, sweetest lil puppy. got it on christmas eve. v unexpected cos i've been wanting a dog since forever but mom objects. i've already given up hope, infact. but hey. life is ful of surprises. i'm tired. i'll blog more ..when i do blog lol.

i plan to invite friend interested for a movie marathon. yucui definiately (my LotR pal! went with me for the FotR and TTT repeat thingy b4 RotK and the LotR exhibition at sci center!) and npcc gal pals. gonna move the coffee table away n put mattresses where it is. gonna be pretty cosy with blankets n dim surroundings n stuff lol. everybody bring your own snacks n drinks n we share! depending on how many can stay overnight, it's gonna either start in the morning n end at night or at at around noon n watch thruout the night =D. i'm pretty excited. gotta find a date thou..

went to sch today. to clear the locker. nostalgia. how i wish when sch reopens, we're all going back to zhss..i sat at the amphitheather for a short while. we used to sit there while sirs briefed us.. when walking past the canteen, caught glimpse of the green green field and thought of campcraft. the crazy days. when we were the only ones in sch, pitching like man sometimes it seems endlessly in the freaking hot sun (thou some other days we slack loads too. man. when we slack, we really have fun =D haha)den i went to the piano.. where me n my pals used to hang out during recess.. played for a while haha (i hv limited repitore[song i know how to play] anyway haha).. nobody around to chase me out or stuff. walked thru zhss's gate prolly the last time till march that is.

mia's gone back to indonesia for a holiday. helped do the laudry. haha. first time in a long long long long time doing any chores. helped collect trash (no, my hse is nt tt filthy until we have to pick up trash. i mean frm the diff bins) but mostly,operated the washer n hung up the laudry. really mus learn all these "life skills" man ^^;; next time got family dunno how to do anything. HAHA. no lah... i'm thinking if i study overseas surely die cos i dont how to look after myself, housekeeping aspect..so mus learn so tings that i really need to learn? learnt some stuff. must hook up the bra before throwing into the wash so it wont hook other stuff. jeans mus wash inside out, zipped up and buttoned for the same reason. when hanging up trousers, un-crinkle it so later when ironing not so jiat-lat.

my mom can make these small cute chocalate cupcake yummy dessert thingys in ten mins.(ask yucui, she tried them ;) ) today she saw papa beard selling those for $2.20 each! taste the small loh! it's really simple to make. just mix the stuff n into the oven. they mus make a ridiculas profits lol.

i dont know how to keep in contact. i mean it and am quite frustrated.. even now, on msn i hv nothing much to say to friends i do like much.. next time when i get new friends, i'll prolly talk to them cos of the related-ness(new same sch, teachers, sch work + new friends seem more interesting cos there's so much u dont know yet) =S. what about my friends now? i dont want to lose them, i really love them lots n they're ppl i so so glad to have met. drifting apart seems inevitable. what am i to do? call often? i dont even talk to anybody on the phone now. write often? i dunno...sch load's gonna be heavy. how? things wont be the same liao with less physical contact(as in.. face-to-face meeting lah!)(no, not kissing either lol), friendship harder to maintain. mayb monthly letters lah. can take ur own time to reply right? better den no contact at all lol. christmas time. send cards. at least dont give them a chance to forget me ;) =P and a "hallo how's life. this is wad's going on my life now" letter? hm. brainstorming. lol.yucui mingfen sinyee nianya vanda tricia zhenting sharon are ppl closer to my heart(cos of how we connect/experiences shared/cos i just like u lah haha)(others, u are oso valued =) ) tt i really dont want to lose.

i like it when i suddenly remember little things of the past. yesterday, i was at a gift shop looking at those plastic cards with messages on them and suddenly remembered, when i was in kindergarden, i used to get garfield ones if i got fullmarks for spelling! lol. that small fact long forgotten by me n my parents suddenly came to me n it pleased me lots haha. (oh yeah. garfield the movie vcd is out. $12.90) today, i remember "crash dummies"(a toy thingy) you guys rmb? my younger sis forgot liao. it's like u these dummies in the toy car. if u dont put seat belt for them n crash the car against the wall, the airball'll push the dummies n their head n limbs detach!haha.. had so much fun with those (abeit kinda sick when typed out lol)

i'm reading "tuesdays with morrie"(non fiction) by mitch albom (author of 5 ppl u meet in heaven). it's good. about this sick dying old professor who's attitude n outlook on life is damn good. he talks to the author (who's a workerholic n doesnt know the impt things in life) on tuesday. v meaningful. generally, do have a rough sketch of those ideas [imp things in life: stuff that're imp when u find u hv onli like say 2 yrs to life. the essential. when u strip away all the clutter n materialistic ideals n stuff. all's left is family friend n love. experience over materialistic stuff is oso something i believe in. eg. holiday/concerts/music/movies <-- experiences(intangible but greater impact). cars/tv/houses <--possesions(tangible but not fulfilling)] before reading this book n it elaborates, solidifies them, making them more concrete. i really dont want to live for my job, run the rat race n miss out on life. i believe money really cant buy happiness thou media/society tries tell us otherwise. what's the point of being damn successful n return to an empty home feeling so lonely n empty =S. i dont mind hv-ing a mediocer life as long as i'm happy. just..feeling so satisfied with life i dont need anything more. yeah.

that day's really short when you wake up at 2+pm is was running thru my mind today when i glanced at the compy's clock n realised it was 6pm. but it's 2+am now so perhaps it's all even lol. time's all warped.

sleeping for a long time is good. means time spent dreaming is longer too. dreaming is exciting and interesting.. crazy out of the world things. even after i wake up, it's still cool to link and figure out where i dreamt that and stuff

today was a very slack day. woke up. read my storybook(which is actually quite boring.. reading for the sake of finishing it.. dont think i'm gonna read the next book in the trilogy) den went for lunch. read the papers. slept. read papers again. my turn at the compy at last (i was nice for a change not domineerin the computer ^^;;) continued yesterday's blogging. had a nice... long.... shower. felt damn good after that haha.. "me" time.

have been wanting that for so long, especially when i was studying. just lying around, not doing any thing, like you got all the time in the world =)

not much time left. chalets are over. tomorrow supposed to go ubin with carol and dunno who else. (but. cant go. cos must get my winter stuff and there's no other time when mom's free. and also cos i'm alil sick n mom wont let me go -_-. jeez. feel so bad.) tuesday.. perhaps ask my pals to come over that day. wednesday going for 4e1 outing planning and get LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY EXTENDED VERSION whoohoo. been waiting ages. den from 17- 24th will be in korea. from 27-29/30th will be in malacca.

and school starts 3rd jan.

time flies. i just realised earlier the evening =( no. it wont be back to zhss. no more walking all the way to the end to the block, pass all the class, worrying about all the undone homework (usually tt'll be all except ms ow's cos she'll skin me). not familiar faces. not the usual sch compound. totally new sch. and ppl. i dont even know who and where now... just gotta wait till 17th and see where friends are going thou i dont think many 4e1-ers are going where i am. most are like vjc/tjc/njc... while i'm ajc(hopefully but unlikely)/nyjc(likely i think. wont mind). haha. anyway. i alway think it doesnt matter which jc i go to. what matters is myself. and friends... can be made. every place will hv it's share of good and bad ppl (or rather ppl who click or dont-click wiht me). must be more open like lymon said.. would have more friend in 4e1 if i had.

watched sg idol again. i still think sly's "i dream" is better. sly's voice more interesting, more texture. taufik's was boring and kinda flat-_-. sly's more rousing =D prefer sly's "i dream" but am glad tuafik's the sg idol cos his vocals is better la. i think tauffy has to do song where he can play vocal gymnastic n show off eh "me n mrs jones" that kinda song. just hopes he doesnt just do hiphop-_- hate hiphop.

watched runaway bride for the..4th time? (1st was on a flight to beijing in p5, next was with mom somewhere, another was on tv and today on tv cos there was nothing better to do) watched the last half. i think i kinda identify with maggie(julia robert's character). i havent exactly found myself yet but i'm still young so there's still be but i have to keep in mind, searching for myself, what kinda person i want to be, what i want in life.

too little time. stuff i definately mus do is clear my table and do the Lord of the Rings marathon and the christmas thingy with friends.

it's 4.20am. guess i'm gonna wake up at.... hm. 3/4 tmr? in view i slept at 1/2+am yest haha. oh yeah. no. i'm waking up at 10 to watch TEEN TITANS! lol. 10.30am on kids central, every sunday. go watch it. =D

i had a dream. i was in school,it was a normal sch day and we were having morning assembly. right after we sang the national atheme, miss chan stuffed slips of paper everyobdy's hand. i tore away the dotted-lin edge thingys and guess what. it was o lvl results! i got an 8. i cldnt believe it lol(me? 8? nah.. no way.. but there it says on the slip: 8!)(lol). i was thinking how different from what i imagined about collecting results. i w sure i would be super flustered n kinda nervous but we didnt even know getting results today. den. i woke up. with a bad sore throat bleh. i was ">_< $(&%@# ahh..."

anyway.. chalets! i feel e1 chalet was better than the e6, though less people turned up. must be getting old, dont remember much of them.. perhaps it's cos chalet's a lazy slacky days. BBQ on tuesday was a success with lots of nice food =) [lol, e1's chalet seem to hv alot of food! (instant noodles, biscuits, junk food, soft drinks etc)]

on the 2nd last day, we went wild wild wet! woohoo, seven hours of sun and water =D honestly, there're like.. only 4 rides! much less than fantasy island. ular-lah n slide up are the better ones =D slideup's v thrillin! most of the time was sent in the lazy/shiok river and wave pool..most of the fun of the day was just hanging out n fooling around with friends .. (sidenote: shiok river's floor's darn rough! got abrasions on my foot.. ouch.)

then..in between after bathin n dinner, something very unexpected happen which have let me thinking about it these few days.. dun really know what to make out of it..what's expected. and if what i said was taken the wrong way cos that would be the to opposite of what i feel lol.. didnt know what to say. it was so sudden. i'm gonna think n get stuff straight before talking so i wont say all the wrong things again lol

then 19 of us went for dinner at swensens! there was abit of disagreement =( but anyway, it turned out ok =) had to wait ages for our tabes lol.. nop, we didnt sit around a giant round table lah.. 9 small rectangular tables meant to seat 2 were joined together to form a long long table. first time eating with the class.haha ok half the class.. it was nice thou i didnt contribute much,just sitting there n listen to friends of 2/4yrs talking, soakin in the atmosphere.

next up: night cycling! started at 12+ and returned at 3am. cycled round pasar ris park and then to tampines.. got abit lost but still found tampines with the help of v helpful taxi driver! zhiliang went to ask for directions n the uncle went the extra mile n led us there! we took expressway O_O. lol. illegal. but there was a pavement so we were quite safe.. my cycling skills suck ^^;; i was afraid i would collide and cause others to fall. i was behind most of the time lol. mus thank zhiliang patrick n douglous who were right at the back(not all 3.. they take turns?) to make sure i dont get lost or something lol. i've a lil phobia of cycling now ^^;; actually i think it;s just confidence lah.. it fell when i fell.

the guys were supposed to go cycling again (we came back at 3am for a break n those who;re tired can quit) but they lay down to "rest" but *bish* all fell asleep. lol! the guys n gals all slept together.. the bed was packed with ppl! it was freaking cold. i woke up cos it was cold i think. was rubbing my feet to generate warmt(fruitless). went to grab my towel but it was damp -_-. went back to bed but cldnt take the cold so to the living room to find something warm. only found a thin sheet -_- better den nothing.. when i toss it over the bed, douglous automatically hundled up under it o_O;; lol.. mus hv been cold too.

i find the guys have matured.. previous chalets during bbq, they're very likely to cook just for themselves. now they cook for everybody. n having one guy at the back of the cycling gang. and when vanda had to go to the toliet which was qquite a distance away n one had to pass through a very dark area, they accompanied her.

woke up later den went met sinyee n yucui at yishun to celebrate sinyee's bday. i was half an hour early.. cos the original plan was to go home first but didnt lah. sigh. i wish i stayed that last half an hour for eric's s 4e1 song and say proper goodbyes...

[btw... after e6 chalet.. i dunno y but i was quite emotional. i didnt know it was coming and strangely,it was that stupid aunty who cleared away my honeydew sago before i even tasted it that sparked it off. it was snatched away. just like how we have almost no control over that moving on to jcs. it was like the last "official" day the 5 of us were together and i was thinking of what mfen said the pervious night. and readin what vanda wrote in the frog book. and wandering in downtown east alone(after lying to my friends my parents were coming cos i wanted to be alone) tearing quite badly lol]

anyway. was feeling quite sickish that day we went to celebrate her bday.. was unnaturally cold in normal-(shopping centres)-conditions-that-i'm-comfy-with.. kept getting goosebumps. hands were cold. and those sharp kinda pangs of headache ^^; + scraped feet + sore butt (from cycling) n tiredness generally lol

watched christmas with the kranks. dont like it. too many boring parts. joke are.. *rolls eyes*. yeah. they should edit more of the front part away den it'll be better =)

next to starbucks to chitchat thou not heart-to-heart =(.. photos n video taking! nxt pit stop- nianya's place for playstation n nail polish stuff which i didnt take part cos i got a feeling it'll be stinky lol.. just chilling out with my friends is enuff for me... dont need to be doing anything lol.

later, i took 269 frm ang mo kio interchange. fell asleep on the bus. woke up and as like "darn. hope i hvnt missed my stop! oh. i recognise that place gonna reach soon" den i slept again. and woke and saw familiarlandmarks after some HBD which all look the same. kept eyes peeled cos it seemed like i slept for ages. and soon. i was back at ang mo kio interchange!!!! arg. loop service. oh well. =) better to land up at ang mo kio den like.. woodlands or some ulu deserted place lol..

bleh. i had so much thoughts today.. about what i want in life and other more random things.. but i forgot.. cos they werent quite coherent.. just. here and there. oh well. other stuff: prom, jay concert, bintan. really overdue. but i dont ever want to forget those. these all may seem freaking long winded and meaningless but i dont wanna forget these stuff.. i want to read these years later and remember this chalet did take place and stuff..
